Had the Super Q roll and the Shiny Pearl roll! Hands down the best sushi I have ever had!! The meats were so fresh!. The man making the sushi on a Sunday night was doing art with that sushi. Place is beautiful and traditional, warm Sake was delicious, service was good. Highly recommended this place for SushiFood: 5/5
The restaurant, and seating was good. Their restrooms were good too. Staff was friendly and gave good recommendations for vegetarian options. The Japanese Ramune drink is similar to an Indian Goti soda, and was super fun to open it. It tastes sweet, and carbonated. I wanted to have more. The veggie soup/broth looking dish was good, it had mushrooms, sweet potatoes, spinach, etc. I am not a big mushroom fan, so I found it was okay. I noticed others ordering a boat shaped dish, which I think is pretty popular, but unfortunately non veg. I wish they made something similar for vegetarian people.
This is one of my favorite sushi spots on the city. I love the Assorted Sashimi Combo Sushi boat, the quality of fish and the presentation is immaculate, and with a side of rice it can fill two people easily for under $60. Each slice is buttery and melts in your mouth, always fresh tasting, no “fishy” taste. My favorite is the salmon, toro, and scallop. We also love the uni shooters and rolls here. Overall friendly service, fresh and quality cuts of fish, and decent pricing for being in the city.
Delicious food and great service. The mix sashimi platter is beautiful and the oysters are delicious and nice and spicy! Open late, highly recommend having a few beers and sharing sushi with friends. The rolls are good too, lots of nice flavors and lots of choicesFood: 5/5
Fantastic place for sushi. Both food and customer service were great. I wasn't hungry but I was with my girlfriends who wanted to go eat. I went in saying, ill try from your plates to ordering extra plates. All the of rolls we ordered were delicious, but my favorite was double sake. We had 2 of those for table. Sashimi plate wasn't much of the quantity and taste for the price. I wouldn't order that next time. Hot sake was also really good. Service was quick and nice.
Got the omakase here which was very good. And the price was good too for an omakase. The variety was great and service was nice. We also got two rolls the mount Fuji and I think the double hamachi roll. I liked them both, we asked the server for recommendations on the rolls and just ordered what she recommended. The hamachi kama was good too. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian friend got the vegetarian udon
Super chill. Good food. Good sake. Friendly staff. They had the game on. Warriors were trash, blown out by the Pelicans. Had a large hot sake. Had a chicken katsu dinner plate which came with salad, miso, and ice cream. They also gave water and hot tea for free. Will def come back and try more. Cheers!Food: 4/5
Good spot that's open pretty late in an area where most restaurants close at 9:30. Food and service are both above average. It is a little expensive for Japanese, but you do get quite a bit for that price.Food: 4/5
The food was fresh and delicious! We enjoyed everything we ate. The staff and chefs were amazing as well. They were polite, attentive, and very accommodating to our tastes. Would definitely eat here again.Food: 5/5
Always on the lookout for more affordable omakase! We landed on Toyama today since we were already in the neighborhood. We ordered their soft shell crab, oyster lovers, and omakase 2. The soft shell crab could’ve been better. They place it on top of the salad which resulted in some cross contamination with the dressing. The oyster lovers was a good deal! It came with 3 oysters with uni on top. We highly recommend eating it separately to get the best of both worlds. I ate them all together and the oysters overpowered the uni. The omakase took about 30 minutes and included a bonus abalone. I think their omakase is pretty good bang for your bucks at $50. The long cut of fish reminded us a bit of amami.
