Toys R Us was a magical place when I was kid. The toys they had back then were well made and good quality. Over the last 20+ yrs, they started filling the stores with cheap Chinese garbage . I'm not surprised they are shutting down but, it really is too bad.

I'm going to miss them greatly. I take my kids all the time. The staff is always friendly and I always find great toys for the kids. I guess I'll have to start buying all their interactive toys off the internet. 😢

I want to commend the Daytona store. I had purchased toys for a birthday gift that I was bringing to NJ. While in NJ I noticed that the child already had one of the gifts so I went to the Union, NJ store to exchange it. What a nightmare and I was given a credit for approx. $7 less than I paid even though the item I purchased was $10 more than what I exchanged. Since I am a rewards member, my purchase was easily looked up. I decided to check with the Daytona store when I returned home to see if they could explain why I was not given the correct amount. I spoke with Daniel who rectified the situation for me. He was polite and took the time to figure out what happened, unlike the male at customer service in NJ. This is the third time in the last month that I have been very pleased with the staff in the Daytona store.

A nice place with a decent selection. However, it is very difficult to get a staff member to assist you. And the Babies"R"Us section is very limited. The store could do better, but I still love shopping there! :)
