This independent, full-service electrical testing enterprise provides an unbiased analysis of high power electrical equipment to a wide array of industries including data, petrochemical, health care, utility, financial, and cogeneration.

Trace Electrical Services and Testing; LLC is a full member of the International Electrical Testing Association (NETA), and the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA). In addition, all Trace Testing technicians are members of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. Trace’s membership in these associations requires strict adherence to rules and guidelines set out by these entities, which corresponds to superior service for Trace Testing’s customers.

NETA Specifications Enhance Trace Electric’s Capabilities:

Electrical testing organizations, as spelled out by NETA, cannot be traditional electrical contractors. Trace Electrical Services and Testing abides by this, offering unbiased and professional electrical testing which is independent of installers, suppliers, and manufacturers of electrical equipment.

Trace Testing’s employees perform electrical testing functions on a regular basis, another NETA requirement. NETA also requires that all technicians involved with high power electrical testing receive sufficient training regarding all of the hazards involved to keep safety at the highest level. Tests are conducted and documentation is submitted by Trace Testing to NETA, which gives Trace the designation of a NETA Accredited Company.

Trace Testing’s technicians are also certified in accordance with the American National Standards Institute (ANSI)/NETA ETT-2010, Standard for Certification of Electrical Testing Technicians, which requires that every crew leader of an on-site electrical testing team holds a Level III or higher certification in electrical testing.

NETA standards also dictate a hierarchy of tests and procedures in a particular sequence in order to determine expected results from electrical equipment, which is strictly followed by Trace.

Besides performing acceptance test testing on new electrical installations, Trace Testing provides their customers with full electrical testing and maintenance services, ranging from battery testing to 230kV distribution equipment, and everything in between.

Trace Testing is available around the clock, and every day of the year to respond when emergencies arise. Completely outfitted service vehicles give Trace Testing the capability to dispatch technicians directly to the facility.

Trace Testing jobs include acceptance testing of electrical equipment prior to turn-over to the owner, assessment of existing electrical equipment and systems, maintenance and preventative maintenance, and emergency response.
