Story

Everything is homemade except the bread and the french fries. Eggs Benedict every Sunday and Stick to your ribs Southern Style with Bonnie's own touch of Sausage Gravy over Biscuit ever Saturday for breakfast specials. Homemade soup and Bonnie's award winning Chili served everyday. Lunchtime specials Monday thru Friday. Eat in or take it with you.

Very good food, pretty basic and straightforward but tasty and fresh. Pricing is very reasonable, service is pretty quick. Good place to stop if you need something relatively fast that's going to be good. Plus, this place won't be that busy, even if the restaurants in Shelburne are crowded.

1 piece of toast with over easy eggs?really?The owner is off and on bitchy and reprimands employees out loud so everyone can hear.My 18 year daughter asked a simple question..."Do you serve breakfast all day here?"The answer would have been a simple yes or no but the response was"WELL IT WOULDN'T BE A DINER IF WE DIDN'T"...in a snide tone.Seriously snide tone.Last I knew serving breakfast all day is NOT what makes a diner a diner.

Great food, great owner/operator. Trail Toc has been a wonderful option for the breakfast crowd. When in Shelburne; TOC, the sugarshack/pancake houses, and Foxtown are some of the tried n true favorites. Bonnie and her cooking will be missed.

Excellent food, service, and price. Small - therefore limited seating leads to waits on the weekends.
