Excellent value, nice owner.  The rooms are well laid-out, with large bathroom and a spacious area to hang your clothing.  Quiet location, which we appreciated.  Though no "continental" breakfast, doughnuts, cookies, and coffee were available.  The owner was kind enough to switch rooms for us so we could check in early.

We stay here a couple times a year.  Staff are very nice. Rooms are clean, comfortable and very quiet. The price is right too.  For the price, you can't go wrong.

Really enjoyed my stay there!  Great comfortable bed, clean place.  Coffee and roll in the morning and Northern Wisconsin fresh air out the door!  I would stop by again if I am in the area.

Obviously the Trailside Motel is not a 5-star hotel but for what it is it definitely gets 5 stars from me! My wife and I stayed there to attend a Heart concert in nearby Hinkley, and I have nothing but good things to say about this little hotel. Very well kept... clean... and the beds are firm but comfortable. The owners were very friendly and accommodating and the price is right. Across the road is a small bar with food and drinks that is also very friendly and welcoming. We were skeptical having never been here before but I would defnitely recommend the Trailside Motel.

Clean and pleasant motel. Had a queen and full in room. Full looks kinda hard but queen was very comfy.
