Very small quiet park snugged up against the hillsides. Make sure to use restrooms before you go to this park, because they don't have any.

Just be aware of wild animals. Usually they're more afraid of humans than we are of them. A few years ago, I saw a very big coyote as I was about to enter this part of the park from Fullerton Road. Then a few years later, I think I saw the same coyote while mountain biking on top of one of the hills where a tower is located. First I saw a deer near the bushes that jumped quickly and darted off in front of me. A few minutes later, a huge coyote jumped out of the bushes also right before my eyes. It was so close I could touch it. Both of us were shocked and surprised to see each other, but the coyote seemed a lot more scared than I was. I took off the moment it saw me. It was not expecting to see me, and I think it was hunting that deer that I had just seen. It's best to hike or mountain bike with another person just in case you run into any kind of trouble.
