I have been going here for about 8 years. I have never been dissatisfied and I'm a picky person!!  To the comments who say they came
In and others after them were helped first, those people probably called and made an appointment. Appointments are always taken before walk ins. I've called on my way there and was able to make an apt for within twenty mins of call time, so maybe try that! :)

This place is simply terrible.  Some months ago, I came in to get a pedicure done.  I arrived at the exact same time as another customer.  The woman at the desk told us to have a seat.  While sitting, 2 more customers came in and was told the same.  The woman at the desk asked the 3 other women in there to get services what they were getting done and placed them at a table to get helped.  She never even asked me, nor looked at me.  I was so embarrassed.  I rather than put up an obnoxious scene, I walked away in Shame.   I should have learned my lesson after this first terrible experience, but I came back to give another try. What did I do that for?   I wish 0 stars were an option, because that would be my rating.  Today,  I arrive to get a gel Manicure and was refused service.  I asked why and the woman at the desk informed me that I was too late to have services done. Not to mention, she welcomes 2 other customers after me.  She walked away to speak with another woman and came back telling I still could not get services done today.  I asked for the name of the manager and said her name was May.  When I asked to speak with her, she (May) refused to speak to me.  The woman on the phone continued to tell me I should have come in earlier and I can come back tomorrow.  She went onto say, that although they close at 8:30, it is their practice to stop accepting new customers at 8pm because of closing.  I asked her for clarification 3 times on this, as she accepted 2 customers after me! I'll never go back and will tell everyone I know about these experiences at Tranquility Day Spa!!!

Worst place not organized at all. This nail salon is not what it used to be many years ago. I did I set of gel nails and the girl cut them how she wanted and the shape she wanted this is even after I told her exactly what I wanted. At that she did them so short and thick it was a waste of money. The girl that runs the salon is young and looks so miserable as if she hates her job.  Never again will I go there. I wished I would of read the reviews before I went there

Wish there was a way I could leave negative stars. This is the worst salon in Connecticut. Should be shut down like the rest of the stores in the mall. Crazy enough I've given them good business have even recommended people Togo there. I go in there and want a simple pedicure and gel fill and nobody could give me that. They had two different women come up to me and say they'll be right with me and just stared at me I guess because I wasn't throwing money at them I couldn't get service. Beware and stay clear of this Place!!!!!!

Staff are rude. I've tried multiple times and was disappointed in service and rudeness of staff every time. One male hurt me, he was so rough. Not worth spending a penny at this salon.
