I've been to hundreds of storage facilities as a mover. Trans Canada is a nice building with wide hallways and a nice covered area I can get my moving trucks into. The only downfall is the elevator that closes WAY to fast. I asked for a key to hold it open because we were the only people in the building. ( I understand theres other paying customers using it throughout the day but there wasn't that day) The employee at the front desk was rude and said no to the key and told me to move faster and it's for fire safety. I've been in the moving business for a long time. I'm faster then alot of people doing this job and Im basically in a elevator every other day, it's not fire code when two people can't walk into a elevator without the door closing on them it's a safety hazard. You can't grab a 2 wheel dollie worth of boxes that's at the door without it shutting. When a customer is paying over a hundred dollars a hour for a mover you'd expect them to move at a reasonable rate while unloading a full truck but it's hard when the door shuts every 5-10 seconds. Please fix the doors and I will gladly refer more people to your business but I don't want it to look like it's my fault and have my customers pay more then they need to too move.

Terrible, there office staff is very rude and disrespectful if you decide to move your belongings to a more affordable storage. We were promised a outside unit for 70.00 more than our current storage when it came available which was 7 days from the time we discussed the price. Then when it was available all of a sudden it was 140.00 more. They expected us to take it. We were not willing to pay that price and there excuse was all prices are subject to change. We ended up moving our belongings to a different storage place at half the price. Gave our notice and they were upset. They now are trying to charge us for two more months rent and late fees and we gave our notice and moved out long time ago ..... That is how this place operates. I can't believe the way they do business and treat a paying customer. We are still waiting to hear from the manager. To come up with a solution and explanation, for the poor business practices. They also charge every 4 weeks not once a month. BEWARE OF THERE GREED.
