This is my favorite Italian restaurant. A nice cozy place with a friendly staff and atmosphere. Reservations are a must during the busy summer months. The hardest part about eating here is deciding what to order because it's all delicious. Some of my favorites are the prosciutto wrapped asparagus appetizer and the house made meatballs and marinara.

Just had our first meal here tonight. We won't be returning. It's difficult to assess the quality of the actual meal because our evening began on a sour note due to the rude treatment we received from, who I believe, is the senior bartender.

Obviously, we understand that the staff will need to check IDs when their customers order alcohol. But there is a way to do so without being insulting. After our waitress politely checked our ID, the bartender approached our table and checked our ID for a second time. This would have been fine if it weren't for her aggressive, rude tone, her calling one of my friends "McLovin," and loudly making a scene out of this routine activity.

In addition to this exchange, the table next to us spent the majority of their time staring at us and whispering comments to the same bartender.

The food was rendered unenjoyable as a result of this establishment's unwelcome approach.

I ordered a special occasion gift certificate by phone one week ago and was told it would be mailed out the next day.  After waiting for one week, I called the restaurant and stated I had not received my gift certificate to date.  Barb, who took my original order, called Holly, the owner, to confirm the mailing.  Barb called me back in 6 minutes to say "yes, Holly sent it out the next day" and that "we have no control over the post office."  I requested to speak with Holly.  Holly has not called me back.  Holly has no idea what I wanted to speak to her about.  What disrespect and lack of class as a business owner.  Sorry that I choose Trattoria Funistrada.

Our family came back after 20 years and Tommy Reay did not dissapoint.  Incredible service and amazing food!  Thanks for making our experience amazing!
