We were in California to visit Disneyland with a big group, and everyone has expressed what a wonderful experience they had while staying here! Even Travelodge Brea is just 10 miles from Disneyland. The entire Travelodge team was super friendly and made everyone feel at home. The rooms were nice and clean, and the beds were extremely comfy. The breakfast was yummy, and the coffee was excellent. Our experience was truly wonderful!

A lot of little things kept adding up to a negative experience. The person at the front desk was rude and unhelpful. The sheets were uncomfortable. We got one tiny bath towel when we checked in and one more tiny towel when we asked for more. The walls were paper thin. The ice machine was just sitting in the middle of the parking lot, behind a building. They completely ran out of parking and we had to park by the ice machine with the back of the car sticking out where it was in danger of being hit by cars turning the corner. The lights in the room were harsh and bright. Not a good experience. Also, you can see by the condescending reply by Nick below what dealing with the front desk was like. I had to shout through the front window several times before he would wave me over to a window to talk to me and then he called at 11:01 the day we left while we were packing up the car to bug us about checking out.

Everything was great. Clean and comfortable place. Friendly staff with valuable service. Healthy breakfast.
