do not stay here. my hotel room floor was soaked. heater didnt work -2 😬 and my shower head sprayed water all over the bathroom so much so i had to wrap a towel around it.. went and talked to the desk 13% off... brutal do not stay here super out of date and smells like mold ..

This is a very mediocre hotel.  I'm rating it 3 stars as the staff were really great and it was very clean.  It desperately needs updating, everything is very old and worn out.  The hallway smelled skunky.  I also could clearly hear the man in the room next to ours urinating at 7:55 am because the walls are that thin. I will not stay there again despite it being in an excellent location.  For the price it is not good value.  It does have an indoor pool and a very simple continental breakfast.

$89 a night is extremely over priced. First impression of visit, large potholes as I entered parking lot. Front lobby looked very 1980's. I went up to the room and there was this horrible musty smell. I went to use the washroom and the toilet was dirty including the seat, the shower was dingy too. Truth be told, I left before I even unpacked my vehicle. No way I could stay there. I went elsewhere. The only positive thing about the place was the young lady at the front desk. She was very polite, respectful and professional.

Well, first we were told the pool was a bit chilly, however it was sub zero and unusable. Then our toilet over flowed. Once we were able to let the front desk know.. (After trying to call but discovered the phone was not plugged in) they had a bit of a computer glitch so we expected a bit of a wait, the girl said 20 min.. 2 hours later I go out to the front again. The one girl is cashing out and the other girl was helping some people so I waited patiently. Then upon asking the problem, I explain and the girl doing cash out is rude to me and talking to me like I am blaming her. When all I was saying was we have been 2 hours without a toilet and we have to leave at like 6 in the morning.. It was 11:30 pm at this time. Then while I wait for the other girl to switch the rooms because apparently the first one couldn't do it anyways, she didn't know how. Sooo while she is helping me and I am waiting she is complaining about how her cash out isn't going well, and not adding up because she took a payment. ANYWAYS.... She is complaining also about how she should have been gone 30 min ago. While I and a few other people stood there, and the other girl with the red hair ran around trying to help me and answer the phone and the other person.. And her when she kept interrupting for assistance with her cash out. To me.. I would think the customer would be the most important thing, not trying to hinder a co worker who is trying to sort out something that you were clearly not concerned about as you were cashing out. So, yeah. If you aren't prepared to provide good customer service in a job that is customer service based. Work somewhere else. I was disappointed in general, the pool, the service was terrible.. Except for the overnight red head. She was a rock star. However the girl with the bad ombre type hair... Should really be retrained. Her attitude was really bad, her comments to me were uncalled for when all we wanted was a room with a working toilet... Like we are paying for. Will not return to the Thunder bay Travelodge upon our return trip in a week and a half, nor will we recommend. Likely not going to look at any Travelodge in the future, really dissatisfied.

Well some workers are nice. They don't like clean the room well and if you ask the housekeepers to clean the room, they seem to give attitude. It's okay for a room. Like the air conditioning for sure.
