I was craving Italian food while on an overnight getaway to San Antonio. While googling options and reviews, I saw this little spot. I was not disappointed! It is such a cute little building right on the river. The outdoor patio area looked like such a nice setting. We sat indoors, on the side with the open kitchen. It’s not a huge place, so tables are close together and it was full the whole time. But even with that, service was fast and efficient the whole time. The staff worked so well together and everything ran so seamlessly. Every member of the staff was warm and friendly from the moment we entered until we left. The food was wonderful! We ordered the Burrata, Gnocchi, House salad and half chicken dish. Every bite was sensational. The price was very reasonable for the portion sizes and quality of food. I hate I don’t live closer!!
I have been a customer for a few years now and love coming into the restaurant when I can. My mom had been wanting to go here for a while so we went for her Birthday. My family and her were VERY impressed! Myself included. The entire staff was very attentive and personal. Truly made her birthday special! Thank you to our waitress Kim and the rest of the staff. It was very neat to learn more about the history of building and one of the staff members was very kind to show a picture of a piece of art that was of the building we were in. That made my mom very impressed, she loves History as do I. Food experience: was 10/10. Service: 10/10 Ambiance: 10/10 Thurs evening My family will be coming back again real soon I’m sure. Compliments to the chefs, and staff.
Amazing dinner, nice outdoor scenery enjoying the best Italian food at SA, actually was the perfect date after visiting SAMA MUSEUM. Best burrata I ever had. Everything was delicious, great service. Highly recommended.Food: 5/5
Located downtown near the Riverwalk, with nice outdoor scenery. For starters, we selected the mozzarella with garlic toast, as well as the cacio e pepe deviled eggs. I believe we ordered the wrong mozzarella appetizer by accident, as the dish we were expecting wasn't the one we received. In other pictures online, the mozzarella was in a ball and had a creamy center. The one we chose, was melted down and was more chewy and undesirable. I'll give the restaurant the benefit of the doubt and say we just chose the wrong dish, because on our way out, we saw another table with the mozzarella dish that we initially wanted. The deviled eggs were great and the star of the show. Very flavorful with a generous garnish of fresh parmesan. We chose 2 entrees: the Campanelle Bolognese and the white truffle radiatore. The bolognese at first glance looked a bit under sauced, but once we dug in, it was just the right amount of meat sauce to pasta ratio. The Mrs. says the dish reminds her of hamburger helper, I guess you can take that statement with a grain of salt. Overall, it was a good dish in my opinion. The white truffle radiatore dish was a little more flavorful and rich. I also liked the texture of the pasta, as we've never had the radiatore shaped pasta before. Overall a solid dish. Service was fine. One of the managers came by the tables to converse with the guests, which was nice. We did however feel a bit guilty when she asked if we wanted more bread to go with our unwanted mozzarella. She said it was one of the best things at Tre Trattoria. To each it's own! 3.9/5 Parking: Downtown parking. Good Luck!
10/10 no wait , reserved through google maps before I came Saturday 3 pm. Kay was a great server and great recommendations ! She recommended the burrata appetizer. & OMG the best , most flavorful thing that night . I would get that over the bruschetta . Casarecce nice margarita type of pasta . Smoked Gouda white truffle radiatoreKat recommended & did not disappoint—- THE BEST DISH OUT OF THE 3 we tried Asparagus risotto no flavor and would not order again WE WILL BE BACK TO TRY MORE AND FOR THE BURRATA!! We stopped so many time and stared at the dish with no words … do I need to say more ? Parking: Park infront of the art museum that is the parking for tre trattoria go through the museum straight and go out the glass double doors and it’s right there
One of the best meals I’ve ever had! Delicious food, great service, and reasonable prices made for a fabulous evening. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant - everything we ate and drank was outstanding.Food: 5/5
We love coming here. The atmosphere is always relaxing and intimate because it seems so small. I would recommend making reservations. We have tried close to everything on the menu and rarely are disappointed. Honestly most impressed with the service every time we go. DON’T leave without getting the Nutella x3! Dietary restrictions: Offered gluten free pasta for extra $3 Parking: Parking is at museum lot across the street. To get into resturant you can either go through museum or around side.
It’s 11am and we’re still thinking about dinner last night at Tre. Please, if you haven’t been here yet immediately make it a point to! We had the pleasure of going during Culinaria week. The choices for each chapter were so amazing. We also did the wine pairing which I highly recommend. Our server Kim was so helpful and sweet. We got a visit from Jerome who we believe is the head of house? He was super involved and passionate about the restaurant. You can tell this place cares about each item on the menu and your overall experience. The food was absolutely incredible and I ate til my heart palpitations said NO MORE. Coming back asap!
Great lunch spot on a rainy day. Ordered the Soppressata and Tomato Pizza. Great texture and flavor. Loved the pepperoncini component that added a nice heat. Highly recommend if you’re visiting the SAMA!Food: 5/5
Absolutely incredible food. We were completely blown away! Best meal I’ve had in a long time. Highly recommend the deviled eggs, pulled to order mozzarella, and radiatore.Food: 5/5
