Treasure Hunt, founded in 1963 is a family business of exceptional quality. It retains a deep sense of history and tradition.

I've been dealing with Treasure Hunt Mt. Lebanon location for almost 20 years. I've bought almost my entire Morgan Silver Dollar collection there and recently a beautiful ring for my girlfriend. Their jewelry collection is exciting to browse, with very fair pricing. I recommend anybody shopping for the right gift for someone special or to indulge yourself to say hello to the great folks at Treasure Hunt first!

I took a handful of jewelry and a diamond engagement ring to them to sell. They quickly glanced at everything and offered me $150.00 for everything. I told them the diamond engagement ring cost $3800.00 back in 1983 and was purchases from Baily Banks and Biddle. They told me it was only worth $100.00, diamond included!! I knew my jewelry was worth much more than that, so I left. While driving home, I noticed a small jewelry store with a "we buy gold" sign in the window. I stopped and ended up selling everything except the engagement ring. I walked out with $450.00 in cash!! Treasure Hunt rips you off. I suggest checking into the small "family owned" type jewelry stores. You will be treated with respect and given the best price for your jewelry. The Federal Trade Commission should be notified of the "false advertising" they do. The reviews clearly show Treasure Hunt is deceiving consumers regarding the "actual value" of their items. Treasure Hunt takes advantage of its customers by paying way below market value on items, thus "stealing" the consumers money to benefit them. They should be investigated and hopefully put out of business.

I brought in a pure platinum ring with a carat of small diamonds in the band. I got offered 319.00. I declined and went down the Rd to GemLoanz on Mt Lebanon Rd. They offered me 425.00. Enough said. Lesson from this is dont believe something just cause you hear it over and over again in a commercial.  To anyone who reads this I would recommend not just taking Treasure Hunt's quote as the highest. Shop around.
