Amazing!! I've never seen anything like it before but again I am usually not into this kind of tree lol. But anyways I must give stars. In a great area and kept clean. That's always a plus
The Oak is HUGE! Definitely a worth the trip to see it. The park itself is a bit small and lacking seating. It’s more of a walk-through park then a destination in itself.
Wow! Amazing! Everyone loved the tree. Nice park. Not much parking around, so beware.
When people think of the South and its trees, live oaks like this come to mind. Ancient, 200+ years on this earth, and the thing looks phenomenal. The name “Treaty” oak was a lie made up in order to protect it, so thanks to the chap who did that. There is a boardwalk underneath so as to not damage the roots, but the tree can only be appreciated up close and in person. The tree is older than General Lee and has branches that predate Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr., which is fascinating to me. The park is free, just be respectful of the tree and the park which has several other old live oaks. Definitely worth a visit, located just off the interstate, cheers.
It's a pretty little Park. Small indeed, but uniquely placed in a concrete jungle. We visited this park early Sunday morning on a cool day. It was clean, beautiful, and wonderful step away from the busy city life although it's placed in the middle the city.
Beautiful park with the most amazing tree!! Great for photography, fun for climbing
What a wonderful old tree....250 years!!! This tree is a must see....so fantastic. It's too bad the park itself doesn't match the majesty of it's namesake. I would love to see the city do more to promote, preserve and expand this park.
This tree is awe inspiring. It has a unique history and is an excellent place to find stillness and grounding.
Other than the nesting homeless. This was an amazing stop, on our journey. The tree is absolutely breathtaking.
Quite an amazing spot to visit! Treaty Oak, what a beautiful spot to see a historic tree. Very cool to see. Old…feels the history about Jacksonville.
