These guys are great! I hired them over a month in advance and they were willing to answer any of my questions. They sent me an estimated quote within minutes and they were VERY PROFESSIONAL.  They called me a day before the move to make sure everything was set up and ready to go. They came to pick everything up on time and did everything quickly and neatly.  The truck showed up at the exact time we were expecting them with absolutely nothing broken. Everything was done so neatly that it took them less than 30 minutes to unload an entire studio apartment from the truck.  I paid what i was expected to pay, only a few extra dollars for some materials they used to make sure things wouldn't break. I would use these guys again!

They we're a local company that gave me a fair price. On move date they were on time and everything went as planned. The movers were great. I just got my delivery and everything was the same as when they picked it up. I'm so happy I found an affordable mover that preformed great service. I would recommend them. And would use them again. Thanks again. If you need a good mover use Tri-State Area Movers. The full pack in service was a dream come true.

This is a very well managed company.  Coaching during the initial visit to my home and delivery of packing supplies helped ensure I was prepared.  They assured me they would handle my furniture, artwork and fragile items with care and the movers delivered!  All four team member worked hard and were friendly and courteous.  It took three large trucks to move my contents and not a single item was damaged. The crew went out of their way to make sure I was pleased. Tri-State Area Movers is awesome and I would highly recommend them.

We were charged for the 5 hours we committed to, move took 3. That's fine, but the extra hours we paid for should have covered the hidden extra weight charges that no one told us about. I would not recommend based on the unexpected charges that were not explained or listed in the estimate, as well as having to stop and argue during the move about all of this to the point where the 2 men moving our things in actually stopped for a while, I guess thinking that if we couldn't come to an agreement they wouldn't bring the rest of our stuff in? I'm not usually someone who complains, but as a fellow business person. I would never handle an account the way this was handled.

The movers showed up exactly on time and ran a tight ship. They were helpful and courteous even when I realized that we had far more boxes than originally anticipated. The move began at 9 AM and wrapped by 6 PM. We were able to sleep in our beds that night and all boxes were put in place according to room so that we could find the necessities. Excellent moving company.
