This place is a very quiet quaint establishment . The customer service was top-notch. They were very detailed and explaining the food we was going to receive. The food was spectacular. The fries were air cooked crispy. The Korean wings were very tasty and not too hot. The brussels sprouts was fresh. The M-39 club sandwich was fresh! No old lettuce or tomatoes. I’m definitely go to coming back here again to try some of the other foods.
We came here for wine and appetizers on a Friday early evening. It has a nice, quaint atmosphere. The doorman was very friendly and the bar staff were very personable. Such a nice vibe. We ordered the burrata and roasted butternut squash delicious! I wanted more, Korean cauliflower savory taste and charcuterie board which had all of the delicacies on it. I had a red blend to pair with our dishes. Excellent evening.
The staff, top-notch. The food is delicious, my waiter old school steakhouse professional. I had the N.Y. steak with bacon and artichoke as a side. Prepared perfectly. The atmosphere, well, that's this restaurants one dent in the armor. Located inside the hotel, you get guests on vacation who challenge the dress code. I sat next to some tables that were loud, which is a distraction if you haven't partaking any alchohol.
Was looking for a nice place to go for an early Valentine's dinner and googled romantic restaurants. This place showed up on the list and it did not disappoint. The ambiance was great. It is a small restaurant inside the lobby of The Henry hotel. The food was good. I had the beef short ribs and rated it a 4 out of 5. The service, ambiance, and drinks were the stars of the show, however. My server Christina was professional and attentive. The drinks were strong, yet tasty. You could tell the bartenders used high-quality ingredients and the pour was nice. The only negative that I can say about the restaurant is that I absolutely HATE when restaurants add on an automatic forced gratuity. I completely understand it with large parties, but for a party of 2 people, it seems a bit ridiculous. When they add a 20% "service fee" and then also have a line on the bill for gratuity it seems like they are trying to trick you into double tipping. I'm also pretty sure that you are NOT supposed to pay taxes on a service fee, which was added in before they calculated the tax. This place seems like it should be too high class and above board for the unnecessary money-grab tactics. Ultimately I would come back again but anyone reading this review should beware of the billing issue.
My whitefish was excellent!! I loved getting a whole fillet that was crusted perfectly on top and the potatoes were crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. The brussel sprouts were also very good. I like that the waitress didn't rush us and was totally fine with us staying long to chat. It was a weekday in the middle of the day, to be fair.
Excellent meal, drinks and a memorable service! Our special occasion dinner was fantastic! Majority of us had the white fish as main entrée and my friends liked appetizer choices particularly spicy korean chicken, Tacos and Tempura shrimps. Wood fired Pizza - cooked to perfection and delicious. Both the Old fashioned and Spicy cucumber drinks were fantastic. They introduced new bloody-mary edition and it was well garnished with bacon strip, a large lettuce leaf and a couple of cheese cubes. Our teenagers loved deserts. Hostesses were sweet and welcoming and we were seated immediately. Waitress Nametha..hope I got her name right..said its her grandma's middle name, food servers, managers all went above and beyond to make this one of the best dinners we have had in years! Excellent place, nice atmosphere, reasonable. Will definitely repeat! Vegetarian options: Good Veggie choices. Parking: Enough parking available
I visited the bar just after 7pm on Monday, May 13th. As soon as I sat down I was greeted by a woman named Mary. She promptly took my drink order, almost before I was fully seated and I had my beer in hand almost as quickly as I was settling into my chair. Impressive, thank you Mary. Unfortunately, that level of customer service was short lived. It was busy, there were no seats left at the bar. I was the only female sitting at the actual bar, which really is insignificant until the level of customer service tanked. As I stated, it was busy. Mary was back and forth from the main dining area to the bar. It appeared that tending the bar was not her primary focus, no biggie. Not long after I sat down another woman appeared behind the bar. What brought my attention to her was her complete lack of concern or respect for her surroundings. She began spraying some sort of cleaning agent into the air while aiming the mist at a cleaning rag, all while people had exposed food and drinks within feet of her! I realized she was another bartender when she started wiping things down and cleaning up behind counter and checking in on people at the bar. I began to get frustrated when she would ask the men remember I was the only female at the bar if they were okay, or if they needed anything and completely bypass me. I lost count on how many times I had to hear “do you need anything babe” before I finally had to practically raise my hand to get served another beer. At this point I am getting frustrated. The way she was zipping in and out of the bar area, wiping surfaces down and almost throwing herself at the men while ignoring the only female at the bar was so obvious, it was almost comical. Rachel served me 2 beers, Mary served me one. When I was finally able to get my bill, Mary appeared behind the bar just as I was asking for it. Rachel asked Mary if she could print it for her. Before Mary printed she said, “2 Michelob Ultras?” I had 3, Rachel forgot to ring one in. Now, Rachel did speak up and say no, there should be 3, I will give her that. But, from a business standpoint, think about this. If Rachel had walked away for any reason and someone else gave me my bill, I could have essentially walked out with a free beer. I mean how many people are going to correct a mistake in their favor? How many other times has this happened? The beers were cold, I got to experience one amazing customer service experience and one disheartening customer service experience all in one visit. I can’t say I won’t be back, I just hope if I ever am I never have be served by Rachel. She clearly doesn’t think females are worth her time, which is a shame for her because I’m normally a very generous tipper. If it was not for my positive experience with Mary, I would have given less than 3 stars. If Rachel had been the only bartender I encountered I would have left a 1 star review.
Went to dinner with family. Our server was nice enough but was also dry on personality. The food was beautifully prepared but lacked seasoning. The french onion soup and cookie dessert were the best parts. Parking: I did have to park around the corner from the hotel entrance. Not a far walk but be mindful if someone has a disability.
Tasty, but expensive, food and cocktails. Good service, nice ambiance. All of the servers wore rubber gloves the whole time. That was a little weird; at first we thought maybe it was a food safety issue, but they never changed them, regardless of what they were doing or had previously touched...
The TRIA pork entree was marvelous! The brussel sprouts were especially tasty... and the service? Absolutely wonderful. Highly recommend TRIA. It's a gem!Food: 5/5
