Took my son to Port A for the weekend and happened upon this little motel. The price was excellent even for a room with two queen beds. The room was clean and the a/c kept room nice and cool. Just a short drive from the ocean and the man that runs it was very nice to us. Will definitely be going back.

Very affordable, nice people, and clean rooms. Only dislike was the shower didnt get hot enough.

Although Tropical Motel is not as modern as the Ramada or Hotels that are rated a 5, it is just what a practical person w/family n a buget is looking for. It was clean,, clean sheets and comfortable.
