The bartender stole a tip from me.... I came here with good expectations, looking for somewhere lo-key to relax and have some good drinks with my girlfriend. We saw it was ladies drink free after 7pm when we pulled it up on google, so we figured why not? When we arrived, we asked the bartender what drinks were included, and were told that “ladies drink free is only with parties or groups”. Whatever, I was fine with paying for drinks. Happy hour is $8 for well drinks. I ordered them from another bartender because the one I was talking with previously was eating a salad in the service bar area. I ordered a vodka cranberry and vodka Red Bull. I was told $18, I questioned it because it’s $8 happy hour and 8+8=16... I then watched him charge my card for $18, and while waiting for the receipt, take two singles out of the register and sneak them into a tip bucket. He did it with such ease that it was obvious that he has done it before. I’m currently still here and I’ve seen him do it 2 more times. Finishing my drink and leaving. I work in the service industry and I was baffled. Looked for a manager to tell, but there was none in sight.
Went here on a Wednesday so it was completely empty. Felt really cool to have a whole fancy bar with private rooms and booths to ourselves. They have skeeball, pool and darts.
It has a great vibe........ the food was extremely over priced. I ordered a 9 dollar grilled cheese and got half a sandwich.... what the literal ****. Drinks were good and the atmosphere was amazing. Eat before you come here. Or buy the spicy fries. They seemed to be priced correctly.
Fire open layout basement bar with free for all activities such as board games, pool table, foosball, along with good drinks/music. With a right crew, it becomes a great night. $12 a drink. 4.75/5 stars as a night bar.
Really cool underground space in Meatpacking. $20 cover on a Saturday night seemed a bit steep, but overall good time. They have pool and skeeball as well.
Awesome time! Great music, good vibes. I have been for a happy hour on a Thursday which was really fun. Great place to go with coworkers/friends. Went on a Saturday recently and it was really fun. DJ was awesome. My friend won a VIP party so we got a free bottle. Highly recommend!
First time and I loved it! Drinks are normal New York price...$13 for a cocktail. Ladies free, guys $20 cover. It was adequately packed not suffocating packed, but not empty. There's a pool table and a photo booth. The music was great and I'm quite picky. Great mix of people too. The layout of the place is nice. Lots of private areas for you and your friends. I'll definitely be coming back here! Found a new go to spot!
Don't understand the bad reviews. It's a cool basement bar. Reasonable prices & you can dance...not sure what the problem is???? Not "creepy"...far from it. We've never had a card overcharged and we often have groups-the bouncers are cool, never been an issue.
Nice little ambiance in this basement bar. Difficult to find, but once you do this hidden bar is packed with some great tunes and relaxing atmosphere. Very spacious, you have access to many different nooks couch areas in which to sit and enjoy a few drinks and appetizers with friends. The drinks are expensive but then again you get something worth it. I would def come back and get a couple of drinks.
This place is perfect. I visited with a group of friends for a 30th birthday celebration. From the bouncer at the door, to the bartender, to the manager, and the security team - every single person I can across was incredibly professional. The area is full of places that have pretentious and condescending staff, and Troy couldn’t be farther from that. The drinks were great, ambiance perfect, and they have games - including skiball! 10/10 recommend and will be back! Thank you for a great time.
