This is my absolute favorite hair salon, not just in Iowa but in all the states I've lived. The women who work here are incredibly skilled and kind and the salon itself is relaxing (doesn't smell strongly of hair chemicals). I always look forward to my appointments here and I highly recommend it!

I am so glad I came across Tru during my search for a new hair salon. I have not had a single negative experience there during my two years. Megan is who I have seen from the start and she does phenomenal work and is an amazing person. She takes the time to teach me about my hair and different styling techniques to make me happier with my hair every day, not just when I come from the salon. She even came into the salon early just to style my hair for graduation. I will continue to make the trip to Tru for my hair even though I am moving to Minnesota, because their service is top-notch and I have never been happier with my hair!

I have been going to Tru Salon for just 2.5 years now. The staff is always on point, beyond friendly, and want to make sure you have a great experience. Alex is my stylist and I cannot say enough positive things about her. My hair is always beautiful and she always make sure I leave loving my hair. I buy 99.9% of my hair products from here as well, they are totally worth it. I can never get my hair to look as great as when Alex does it, but I can get pretty dang close because the products are flipping fantastic. They deserve more than 5 stars, they really do.
