I got the California sub. It was good but not great. Only two very thin and narrow pieces of bacon on a sub sandwich.... In other words half of your sandwich doesn't have any bacon on it. I had one a couple years ago and thought it was so yummy.... Not sure what's going on but this time it was just okay. I think because of food prices they're scrimping on the ingredients that they put in the sandwich. Hardly any mayo and a bit dry inside. The bread was good and toasted perfectly. Friendly guy at the counter. Decent prices and not too long of a wait.
I prefer vegetarian and veggie head is my favorite. The quality and quantity of the food is excellent. I have ordered from this order multiple times so far and it has never disappointed me. A highly recommended place for great sandwiches.
I arrived at 647pm on 12/16/2022 Ordered a large sub. $20 added a 20% tip. They started my order. Asked to use restroom. Cassidy said I can’t use it. Company policy. As they were just closing. Asked to talk to a manager. Was told no manager was there. Asked for the managers name. Cassidy said she can’t give me the managers name. Another co-worker told me if they let ME use the restroom, they would have to let other customers use the restroom. SO WHAT IS YOUR POINT ? Are you not a business open till 7pm ? I was the only customer there. There were 3-5 employees there. Would that have been such an inconvenience for their LAST customer to use one of 2 available bathrooms while waiting for them to cook my order ??? She said I can email the company with any complaints. She said their sign says within 30 minutes of closing dining and restrooms are closed. Not accurate. The sigh actually said no dining within 30 mins of closing. I was not dining there. Ordered take out. Sign did not say restrooms closed within 30 mins of closing time. The sign said the dining room was closed within 30 mins of closing time. Makes sense. And why was there not any manager or supervisor on duty ?? Or at least one willing to identify themselves as such ? Closing the bathroom for paying customers the last 30 minutes before closing. Bad business practice. For this reason. I cannot recommended this business. Until they adjust their use of restroom policy. Too bad as I used to like their food and have been a regular customer for many years. If they close their restrooms at 630 pm to paying customers, yet are open till 7pm. I recommend future customers do not order any take out orders between 630 and 7pm. Tubs Subs of Lynnwood. I request a response from you. In the meantime. I strongly recommend customers avoid this business at all their locations in Washington state. . It appears Tub Subs has locations in Lynnwood and Lake City. If I receive a response , I will update it here. Thanks for reading. Eric P. 12/16/22. 730pm.
One of the greatest sub shops in the PNW. Their subs are amazing. They look like a typical sub but the flavor is indescribably good. As we were waiting for our subs to be made, a man I believe to be the owner thanked us for our business, and I found that to be a respectable thing to do. Friendly staff, fast service, and delicious food. Don’t miss out.
The sandwiches are excellent. Unfortunately every online order gets messed up, they don't take phone orders and the lines are always so long it's impossible to get in and out on a lunch break. Even calling ahead to confirm my order didn't help. Would be nice if the quality of customer service matched the quality of the food.
Arrived at around 1pm on a Sunday to get subs to go. There wasn’t much a line to order, but the place was packed. I waited about 10-15 minutes after ordering to get my food but it was worth the wait. The menu is extensive with many appealing options, it was hard to decide. We got the Tokyo Club and the Grinder. I really enjoyed the Tokyo Club - the wasabi mayo with cucumber really has hints of Japan in the taste. It was a little on the pricey side as large subs are over 12 dollars each so just two sandwiches with no drinks came out to $28.44. However, the ingredients are quality, the subs are filled well, and the bread is outstanding. Great lunch to take for a picnic in one of the nearby beach parks!
Decent size sandwich for the money. Pretty good.
Great Sandwiches! Bread is the Best!!!! Would like to see a simple Brie and butter on french bread added to menu!!!! Also for dessert... a french bread, butter and a great chocolate bar added to the inside of the sandwich!
Hubby and I are up from Tacoma, working nearby. We stopped in, and were pleased with the price, quality, and selection of sandwiches. I got the Philly dip, and muh man got Joker dip. We’ll probably be back today. If you see people covered in tile mortar, that’ll be us.
I've been going to tubs subs since the lake city location was their only location and have always loved their sandwiches. But sadly, the last time I got one, which was my first opportunity in about a year, I was disappointed for the first time ever. They changed the bread they use and honestly it completely changes the taste of the whole sandwich. I'm not sure who thought this was a smart choice but the flatbread style bread is not good at all. Please go back to the old bread style. Also wondering if you guys are ever opening the Bothell location that was advertised all of last year? **Updating my review because I went to the Lake City location recently and they're still using the same baguette as advertised. Still no answer on why they changed the bread on our order at the Lynnwood location because it appears others have gotten the regular bread. It's weird but it'd have been nice for them to at least tell us if there was only flatbread available. We'd have gone somewhere else and just come back another day.
