I have been with Dr. Tucker since he first joined a practice in Ellington. I have found him to be responsive and willing to spend the time necessary to explain whatever medical issues I raise. I recently had a family emergency in Colorado and in the rush to leave i failed to take a sufficient amount of my maintenance medications with me. Dr. Tucker was responsive in dealing with a pharmacy 2000+ miles from home to ensure I had the meds I needed. As for someone’s complaint of a long wait in his office, if he’s spending the time a specific patient requires, backups occur. Call before you leave for appointment to see if he’s running late and adjust accordingly.

I've been seeing Dr Tucker for 15 years. He is knowledgeable and takes the time to explain things in layman terms. I am aware all doctors have emergencies and staff changes. That doesn't change the fact that he is an excellent physician and will see you quickly if the need is there. There are also very competent staff members backing him up. I simply don't get the cranky ratings here. Measure across time and need. You will give 5 stars as well.

I scheduled an appointment for a particular time, I was informed if I were 10 minutes late I would have to reschedule and if I cancelled less that 24 hours in advance I would be charged, but the practice has no problem with 40+ minute wait times. Add a disorganized office staff and "new software" issues and you are looking at 1hour plus before being seen. I would not recommend this office if you value your time or wish to be valued as a patient. I cannot comment on the Dr. himself as he wasn't even available.

Kept me waiting more than hour, then I didn't even see the doctor, but a nurse who was very impatient and rushing. She was openly annoyed by my questions. I think they're basically pill pushers. Stay away.

Everyone at this office is so nice and patient . They make you feel comfortable .
