Good wine, decent prices and nice people.

I visited Turkey Point Vineyard Tasting Room the first week they opened in the Spring. Was very impressed. Would have given it a four or five star at that time.

Last evening took a couple of friends there. As soon as we walked in the door it smelled of stale smoke, as if the workers or owners smoked in the back room.  The woman behind the counter barely acknowledge us when we entered as she continued her conversation with the three people sitting at the bar. We would have understood if it was about the wine, but it seemed to be about the local gossip.  After five or so minutes of us looking at and chatting together about the merchandise, I walked over to the wine display next to the counter. One friend went out the door. As I moved one of the bar stools the worker finally asked if we would like a tasting. 

Hope the owners see and read this, maybe the smell and the customer service will improve.
