I am a social worker at a hospital in Atlanta.  I have sent multiple patients to Turning Point and always found them easy to deal with.  Patients tell me they like it there, the food is good and when they need to go back, they don't mind being sent there.  Not many honest people really WANT to be in the hospital so I guess that's about as good a recommendation as I've heard.

I  wouldn't suggest this place to no one. The way they treated my son is ridiculous. His councilor was unconcerned. Never returns your call. He suffered being depressed more than when he first went there. Turning Point out patient was very inconsiderate to him..

There aren't enough words to describe the excellence of the entire Turning Point organization. The entire staff from the physicians, nurses, and counselors, to the techs, office staff and food service workers are empathetic, dedicated professionals who I have immense respect and gratitude for. The programs offered are top notch. The accomodations are above and beyond any treatment center I have ever encountered. A sense of being "home" versus being in an institution or facility make all the difference in the world. Anyone seeking to change your life can achieve that goal at Turning Point. A better future awaits you, I know because it happened for me there.

Horrible experience. 99% of the people in threatment are able bodied men yet they were waiting for the 3rd of the month for there govt checks to hit their accounts. The food is horrible! Turkey sausage, turkey burgers etc. I was there from Feb 21 - March 11 2017. I developed a strange itchy rash while at the west campus. I told my wife about it over a phone call. The weather had been cold and she thought my skin had gotten dry and that it was causing the itch. Long story short, I had a Drs appt a week after I returned home. Upon showing my Dr the rash she immediately jumped back and told me I had bedbugs, freaking bedbugs!!! She brought in a second Dr to confirm. The what Turning Point cost ($20,000 + ) you would expect better. The only place I have slept in the past 3 years is my bed at home and never had a bedbug. I go to this high priced rehab and come back with them! Thus far it has cost me $800 to have exterminaters come and spray my home and a little over $200 washing all my clothes at the laundry mat.
This is strictly my experiences at Turning Point. Should anyone seeking treatment ask me about them I'd tell them hell no!

STAY AWAY FROM TURNING POINT! There are much better, cleaner, with edible food treatment centers out there!
