Great place for kids or adults with many events throughout the year. Sundial bridge is a magnificent structure, the gardens are a beautiful example of plants that can grow well in this area, I got to see a Dr. Suess exhibit there, lots fo great trails surrounding the area for walking/running/biking, Sacramento River is right there. All around great place to visit if you are passing through. If you are a local, you already know the gem in your backyard.

5/28/13 - Turtle Bay Museum Store and Coffee Bar SMASHED PENNY COLLECTION Of all the gift shops we stopped in on this weekend's journey, this was the smallest. They sold clothing, figurines, CDs, and other pretty trinkets. It was all priced pretty similarly to everywhere else we'd been. In the corner they have several complimentary magazines, including one titled "California" that reminded me a lot of our local "Diablo" magazine. It was here I purchased the booklet for our penny collection. You know those machines that take your penny (and fifty cents and smash it with a logo of whatever scenic spot youre at?) well, they make books to put all of your pennies in. I passed on the book which I first saw at the Drive-Thru Chandelier Tree. Stupid me. So I was pretty happy when I saw the same book here for the same price ($4.95). Now I can start tracking down more penny smashing machines :)

My family has been coming here weekly for years. The boys love it and the yearly subscription costs me about the same as one night out to the movies.
