Stayed in a cabin that had a serious mold issue. If not for having brought a fan, we could not have spent the night in there. Cabin next to our had a missing window, so some real maintenance issues there. Layout is nice otherwise, fishing from shore was good, lots of kayaks. Might try a yurt next time.

I grew up going here and so did my daughter. It's was a clean State park and there are lots of things to do but now many people who aren't local are coming here and leaving the beach a MESS! It's so sad. They should do something about it. I highly recommend going boating or kayaking, walking the trails even. I just prefer not going to the beach. I saw a kid throwing rocks at ducks over the weekend. Adults need to teach your children not to hurt the wildlife and throw your garbage away!

In off season, gorgeous and calm with plenty to do. Wasn't impressed during the peak summer times as it was incredibly dirty at the beach. Still my go to place for picnics and hiking. The playground is great for kids too.

Very nice lake. No life guards, but sometimes that's a good thing. Its a free kid friendly swimming area. Not alot of rules. Well kept bathrooms

Nice pavilions and beach!  Cool snack bar with deck - open during summer months.
