Oh Tustin PD. Beware they love some ticket income, guess the crime rate is so low we have to keep them ticking their quotas! We previously had issues in our community with overcrowded parking from surrounding nationhood's; so, a parking permit was introduced, perfect! Problem solved! Or so I thought, first year I had no issues, second year not. So much. With my landlord knowing I was departing the USA in March, he decided not to apply for the 2018 permits, forcing me to park on the drive. Parking on the drive isn't so bad is it? Until you get ticket for parking there as the driveways are too small, leavening the edge of your trunk sticking onto the sidewalk. Where im from if your back wheels are on the drive you are considered parked legally, apparently not here. It would be unreasonable of me to be upset with Tustin PD at this alone, however when I contacted them asking how I can bypass my landlord who doesn't want to apply for the passes for the house, they told me there is no way and have actively started targeting my car / house. Tustin PD won't give me. Pass as I'm not the owner of the house, my landlord has no reason to do the paperwork with me moving out of the USA, All I'm trying to do Tustin PD is be a good citizen and leave the USA with tickets resolved, but when you won't even allow me to come in and get a temporary pass for a week to park at MY HOUSE what am I to do? You started this program to help the residents of Broadmoor, its seems as if it has developed into a lucrative money-making scheme. I have contested my tickets, but I'm not able to list my international address for the response, a very messy, broken, money-making scheme Tustin PD!

Called 911 about 40 minutes ago. Still waiting. I am glad I am not bleeding out somewhere in Tustin. The 911 operator asked me if I wanted a unit to respond to the property where I had found older teens skateboarding on our roof. I told her that was why I had called 911. The kids took their time leaving they wanted to get more pics on our roof. They know our unprofessional boys in blue will take their time. It is now 10:21pm and I called about 6:50 ish. STILL waiting.

I’m proud of our Tustin PD. I have never had a poor experience with them, and many of the officers also donate their own time to community service during their time off. If that doesn't say, “I really care about our city, I don’t know what does!” Thanks, Tustin PD!

The only reason I'm not giving Tustin PD more stars is probably not totally fair because the situations that I have have with them they have come out quickly, they've been fair in speaking with me and done what they could do with what little power they are given. My main complaint is just with police department over all because we have tied their hands up so tight they can't do anything, they really can't be effective in anyway to actually help us as citizens. Its got to be frustrating for them I would think and yeah they have to deal with a bunch of BS and stupidity from people at times. But aren't they just glorified tax collectors in uniform because they're always saying I don't have an answer to that, or I'm sorry but there's nothing I can do about that, it's like who "polices" for lack of a better word the cities because the cops really can't do anything about anything unless they physically see somebody hurting somebody else with their own eyes or they have a witness and physical damage to the person they can't do anything. We need to stop tying their hands up and give them back the control to manage situations and run the streets in an organized manner without hearing from them "there's nothing I can do". And No I don't want ego tripping, out of control LAPD behavior we've seen in the past but they need to have some power to stop the crap that goes on around here.

Thursday morning, Thanksgiving Day, I participated in OCRM's Turkey Trot. About 07:30 I approached the entrance to OCRM. A Tustin PD Officer was directing traffic, helping a school bus unload, and tending to my request to violate his traffic patterns. The man was Superman. He dealt with everyone safely and with tactful authority and skill. My request alone would have sent some people over the top. He was GREAT! I also walked in the 5K event. At Valencia and Armstrong a Sergeant was smiling; where we turned around a female officer was smiling and encouraged all of us. I live in Tustin. I was really proud of your team. Thank You! The evening before some members of TPD delivered meals to Veterans where we live. Thank You again. Sincerely, Houston R. Johnson, Jr.
