Went for Christmas dinner with friends.  Have been here several times before.  Ordered the Zip Chicken.  Totally different than it used to be,  and not in a good way. I actual sent it back because it no longer has the zip sauce but a rosemary gravy that was awful. The twisted mac & cheese is also different. Not horrible but no where near as good as it used to be. This was our go-to place for a great dinner.  Not any more.  Very dissappointed in the food changes!

Amazing service, great food and beverage options. Our water glasses were never less than half full. I had the Twisted Rooster wrap and it did not disappoint, my date had the turkey burger but did not care much for the apple compote but it was worth trying.

The young short black/hispanic looking hostess should greet people with a smile.   She never cracked a smile or said bye to us when we left.
Why did you get rid of your old calamari?  This new calamari is too breaded, crunchy and deep fried.  The old calamari was light and had a great sauce.  Now its a generic, super breaded crunchy calamari.  Put the old calamari on the new Michigan cutting board and it will be pretty and actually taste good.  Apparently they got a new chef.
The waitress was nice but she never got me my second drink from the bar and charged us for it.  We had to ask her to remove it from the bill.  I wish she would have realized it earlier in the meal because I wanted it.
Unfortunately, we wont be coming back to this restaurant which was our favorite on the beltline.

Great American food with an emphasis on Michigan products. Love the tater tots. Good burgers and a very nice pulled pork sandwich. Good bar. Can get really busy at those desirable times.

My husband and I just ate here for the first time. We drive by frequently and the name always caught out attention. We're glad we did! The food was excellent (he had a sandwich, I had a burger -- we both had delicious fries!). We each had a tall beer and were happy with the selection. We interacted with maybe 4 different employees and each one was helpful and friendly - more so than your "standard" restaurant employee would be. The prices and portions were reasonable and we'll definitely be back.
