Pluses: 

1) An excellent, knowledgeable, and friendly wait staff.

2) An interesting historic venue only accessible to non island residents by shuttle boat from the mainland parking lot (looked like an older version of the "Amazon Queen").

Minuses:

1) High prices.
2) Very limited menu.
3) Even more limited wine list.
4) The venue was a lot more more interesting than the food (except for the soups which were outstanding).

Nice chairs overlooking the inter-coastal, but beware of the noseeum flies that bite like crazy during the Summer season.  Food is known by everyone to be just so-so for the price, but water view comes at a premium. It's on the fishing side of the inlet. The entire restaurant has a down to Earth, blue collar vibe throughout.  Happy hour drink prices and the grouper tacos are good, but I think only available at the bars or high tops.  You'll most likely have to pay for parking by either Valet or the parking garage nearby.  Gotta give it 4 stars because is one of the few options to eat and drink on the water in the area.  They have live music Friday afternoons starting at 5pm, but seats in that area of the bar fill up by 4pm during season.  We do prefer this restaurant over the Banana Boat located just across the inlet.

I've been eating here for years. Still as good as always. The blackened grouper is my usual go to, and the conch fritters are great as well. The atmosphere is the best and it's right on the water. Friendly servers and good local beers on draft. You can't go wrong with any of their menu items.

The atmosphere was absolutely fantastic. We sat right on the water and were able to feed the fish with leftovers. Very fun. The food was delicious ! everything seems to be homemade. The service was great. And despite the fact that everything was homemade it was shocking how quickly all of the food came out to us

Love the atmosphere and food! Waitress was decent at the most.. valet person was rude, I asked him for my car key so I could get my own car since it was parked very close to us & I was trying to make it easier for him but he rudely shoved my keys at me , my husband didn’t notice since he was talking to our friend and so he tipped him anyway.. not sure what that guys problem is but he needs to change his attitude.. would give this place a 5 star if it wasn’t for bad service
