If you can catch them open they are a good place to have a light lunch
I was very excited to try a new place. But I was greatly disappointed by the food and the service.
Love the food! But always has hidden charges. This turns me off on wanting to eat there. There is always an extra 50 cent charge for everything that is not listed on menus. Now they add 50 cent for every person for paper goods / to-go items. Just adjust the meal prices enough to cover instead of always adding additional costs to meals. That's why I am leaving 2 stars.
Wait time in this restaurant can be a bit long during peak hours. However Everything on the menu is homemade and worth the wait. As far as sit down restaurants..... hidden gems if you will.... this is one of our towns best kept secrets. If you're passing through and get the opportunity to try it you will Not be disappointed.
The employees are really nice and friendly! They make amazing food and are pretty fast with serving you the food.
Tried this place for the first time. Was not impressed. Food was good but expensive for two sandwiches and a kids frozen heated up pizza that was all served with potato chips & a small cookie. Paid $27.89. No prices on menu, which was a piece of paper that was hand written. Not sure if this was a change from their standard menu due to Covid-19, but not many choices on menu either. Service was extremely slow and not friendly to say the least. Had to ask for refills and a to go box several times. When they charged my credit card, they screwed up & charged someone else’s bill to my card. Then had to refund the balance. I would have liked to seen what my charges were before all of this happened because I really feel like I was overcharged on my bill. Probably will not be back.
This is the worst; price’s too high portions to small; no flavor, no color, bland, not inviting, and poor attitude, no prices on the menu so does that mean they can change everyday or at will, for me it’s not worth the money no second chance, it took to long to do simple stuff and my order was not the only one having problems!
Great lunch spot for down home cooking. Gumbo has a rich roux flavor with just the right amount of spice. Super selection of homemade pie. Specialty pecans available for purchase.
Chicken salad on jalapeño is absolutely delicious!
