I have rented from U-Haul in Fort Wayne, IN and always got a truck full of fuel and then returned the truck full when I was done. Not in Toledo, I received the truck with just over 1/4 of a tank. I was moving my daughter from Toledo, OH to Ypsilanti, MI and not knowing how much gas the truck would take, I filled the tank. Well the truck only took 1/4 of the tank. So I turned the truck in the same day on Sunday May 6, 2018 with 3/4 of a tank. U-haul would not refund my fuel costs but made sure to charge me additionally for more miles. What a rip off especially with gas prices almost $3.00 a gallon. I will re-think renting again with U-Haul, especially in OH.

Manager (Tracy) is very helpful and knows what's going on.  But all of the assistants are completely helpless and clueless.  Its as if the store is being run by kindergarten kids.  I was told that auto pay was set up and realized a month later it was not.  After receiving no notification I had to pay a 15 late fee.  The assistants could not waive it since the manager was on Vacation.

They tried over charging me by $50 in milage, even though I used less miles than I paid for. While they did correct it, I am sure they do this type of thing all the time

Oil cap missing on one truck, antifreeze leak in another we rented. Check your truck before you drive away with it
