Back in November, I was pickpocketed. A month later, this US Bank branch gave full access to my account to an identity thief that was NOT me. The arrogant teller had absolutely ZERO apparent remorse for it, and justified her actions because the person "had my ID.." Well, of course they did. But did the teller even look at the ID? Of course not. Because that person in front of them with my ID was not me! Be warned to ALL if you're thinking of opening an account with "any" US Bank. Or if you bank with them currently, close your accounts and move them elsewhere. You'll regret it if you are victimized, because they will NOT take care of you. They STILL haven't given me my money back, and they're in no hurry to correct their mistake! I also bank with Chase, which was also defrauded by the same thief on the same day. Chase immediately took care of me. US Bank did not. All I get from US Bank is more and more excuses. I am supposed to be protected by federal law against this. US Bank doesn't give a damn about federal law. OR their customers. I've been with them since '99 and this is how they repay my loyalty? US Bank may seem fine, as long as there isn't a problem... but should something like this arise, they will screw YOU rather than pay for their own mistake. Bank ANYWHERE else... Not US Bank.
