I had a pleasant experience being my first time in this building. The Federal Court Security were very professional and also helpful. On the 4th floor the Court Clerks were extremely helpful in obtaining records and documents that I needed.

Hours are kinda weird and the DJ sucks, but there's no cover. The bouncers are hardcore and don't mess around. Tried to leave and they said I had to give them some money or they'd lock me up... Total shake down. There's way better clubs in the downtown area so I'll be avoiding this one at all costs in the future.

I am a disabled veteran with a service connected disability rating from injuries while in the military. I am rated at 100 percent, which means I'm completely disabled. Back in 2013, a security guard named Ramos, on the 32nd street Navy base in San Diego, accused me of beating him up violently. He called in a bomb threat and claimed I was an Al Quaeda terrorist. I have been to both Iraq and Afghanistan and I had a high level security clearance. Why would I be a terrorist with no gun or weapons? Why would I serve five years active duty and then be a terrorist? Why would I be a terrorist in gym shorts that is clearly just at the gym working out? The federal court system at this building prosecuted me as a mentally deranged terrorist. They claimed that I attempted to bomb the Navy base because I was raped by multiple men when I was a teenager. Just really disrespectful stuff. Of course I have access to any military base even today, so none of this even makes sense. The guy was retiring in two weeks, and he wanted to fraudulently claim a workplace injury and get restitution money in court. If I was a violent person, I would have gotten into prison fights and a lot of other problems by now. I have been subject to so many horrible things due to the legal system now. No one ever bothered to check the security cameras on base. No evidence of me being a terrorist ever existed. This Ramos guy, who I never met before, just wanted some cash for whatever vacation he must have been planning. In the court room, they just recorded a guilty plea. Now I'm a federal felon. The Navy never prosecuted me for this nonsense, and you know they would. They can degrade people's discharges and they can basically do anything up to the level of capitol punishment on a veteran who actively commits treason and sedition. But they didn't, because I obviously did not commit any crime at all. I have been blackmailed by people and subject to sexual harassment from probation officers. Just really ugly stuff. If I was so insane, why did I not qualify for mental health court? If I was on drugs, why didn't I qualify for drug court? They certainly didn't let me go to Veteran's court, even though I clearly qualify. The bottom line is that it doesn't matter if you can prove you are innocent. People want their money. This happened at the Federal court house in San Diego.

Nice building, professional sherrifs at entry, clerks helpful, no lines, Obamas photo taken down immediately, left holes in the wall. Art work nice, feels like a protected builidng.

Much confusion is caused for both attorneys and the public because of the two courthouses. It is hard to determine which tank prisoners will be brought to for interviews. It is often necessary for attorneys preparing bail packages to bounce back between both courthouses to get everything prepared. And in a time period when the court attorneys are having their bills constantly snipped by .1 hours here and .2 hours there, it is questionable whether this was the best expenditure of public money. Competent representation for indigents with more investigative services should have been a higher priority than the courthouse. Also more federal money should be spent to make the jails more efficient so that attorneys can be processed faster, thus saving the government thousand of dollars every day. There is also a great deal of "dead space" in the monolith of the new courthouse.
