Chowder Pot III has two large dining rooms and a very popular Captain's Lounge featuring a raw bar.

Pick out your own live lobster from our tanks at both locations 1-15 lbs.!

Lunch atmosphere is bleak. Food was tasty. Buffalo shrimp were good. Wish I got more of them. Fish and chips were great. Had to use my appetizer plate to eat my entree. Not because the portion was so big, but because the plate they gave it to me on was so small. Portion size was perfect. Good beer selection too. I would definitely go back. Would love to know when they open the outside seating area and have the live music I've heard about. Great service Jeremy.

New England Clam Chowder was good. Staff wasn't great, especially on the way in (disorganized with tables, not friendly either). Fried calamari was WAY too oily, and the oil tasted dirty. Calamari also wasn't flavorful, nor was the dipping sauce. Other tables weren't clean. Only reason for 3 stars was the soup which was good and affordable and the decor wasn't terrible.

Chowder pot is a very clean, always packed & has awesome food. Went to see a band last night and had a blast. I had so much fun I had to leave my car there and get a ride home. They were more then happy to let me leave my car. Very nice people there. I will be going again soon.

I took my girlfriend and her family out here for dinner and we all just absolutely loved it. Fried calamari and mussels were the way to go for appetizers. I got the surf and turf which I loved, and everyone else had the lobster Mac and cheese and tilapia, which they all loved. It's a bit pricey, but worth it if you love your seafood.

The fried platters are awesome..... My only major complaint, I find their seafood stuffing to be VERY salty. In general, Service is very good - but on 2 occasions (in the past) they brought my soup, salad and the main course all at the SAME time? Was that to rush me out? The last time I was there however (April 2017) my waiter bought each course to me one at a time. Great! ...the way you are supposed to do it. Chowder Pot is definitely a fun place to eat and hang out - no doubt about it.
