Reviews

Great food and atmosphere.  Valet parking and some street parking,  but Jericho Turnpike is famous bad parking spots on street. The occasion wasn't exactly the best (death in the family) but they treated my family right and were amazing. 

Food: taste great, fairly priced and very delicious. 

Staff: excellent job and respectful.  Kept the drinks full.

Would go back there anytime for any occasion.

Best pizza! The margarita pizza is so simple but so delicious. If you're planning on eating in plan on staying a while. There are only two people working tables and it takes a while, but they do their best to attend to everyone in a manageable time. If you want to speed up the process, just order up front and you can sit anywhere afterward. 
They have a parking lot and metered street parking. 
Handicap accessibility is decent. There's two handicap parking spots. The place is crowded, but accessible or can be made accessible for you and your wheelchair.

Made a reservation a week ahead of time for 6:00 pm.  They even called me back  to confirm my reservation.  Arrived 10 minutes early with a party of 7.  When we came in and said we had a reservation the woman said okay.  Went half way upstairs and yelled to a gentleman did they have room for 7.  He yelled back yes we'll jam them in.  And so they did.  It was not enough room for us.  It then took the waiter 20 minutes to take our drink and appetizer order.  It took another 20-25 minutes to come back with appetizer s and drinks.  Took dinner order.  Waited 30-35 minutes more.  Disappointed is not even close to how we felt.  Food was mediocre at best.  Never going back.  Horrible!! I did call in a week in advance and they did call back to confirm. Why did they bother.

We ordered catering from Umberto's for my fathers 68th birthday on Sunday 3/18/2018. We ordered 1 tray of veal for $70 and a tray of chicken for $60. These are the pics of the veal and chicken respectively, these are standard aluminum trays and you can see they are barely full to cover the bottom. But then the tray with pasta was filled to the max, so which is it? each tray feeds 6 people or not? The serving portions were extremely low to the cost of the trays. I manage a chain of restaurants and this is pretty bad. One extra star for the taste of the food but for trays that end up costing $10 per head according to portions served is way out of line with food costs. They just decided to give less on those trays. We won't be ordering from there again. I advised you read the fine print on how much food you will be getting.

Edit: Umbertos did the right thing and sent my parents a $100 gift card. Since the food was excellent, we will be using it!

First time I went some of the best pizza I've ever had in my life. Second time I went just average Pizza. Definitely worth the try
