I had been wanting to try this place for awhile. We came here for brunch. The drinks are decent except for the bloody mary. Do not get the bloody mary it was awful. The food left much to be desired. I got rib tips and they were do dry, I could not eat them. The portions are small for the price. They have a nice outdoor seating area. I wouldn't rush back or recommend this place to friends.
Best cocktail bar in Houston. This place has the best authentic decor and the most creative cocktails. The BUENOS AIRES is the best taco I have ever experienced in my life, everyone I take there agrees! An absolute gem! Highly recommend! The prices are reasonable and the location is prime. Parking: Safe and easy.
This place has been around forever for a reason. The place is consistent and appeals to a mixed crowd. It's a small, eclectic neighborhood bar with a patio and good drinks. Parking is limited and proportional to the size of the place. If the parking lot is full and street parking is full that's a good sign the place is at capacity. The bloody Mary is made from scratch and comes with a small meal on a skewer. No complaints about the steak night but also nothing to rave about. They were practicing social distancing and were not allowing bar seating or multiple people in the bathrooms.
There was old fashion place and I liked . Our drinks and cheese plate was good. We asked to add some toast bread to our plate and they did. The cheese quality was great and match with crackers and sauce. Also they had tomalley and the taste was like homemade .
Was my first time very nice atmosphere. bartender Alondra was awesome drinks made with freshly squeeze fruit. Buenos Aires taco was yummy , empanadas were yummy , tamales were legit. There was a reunion going on. Had some good eye candy.Food: 5/5
1st time here. It was nice. We found our new spot to relax and enjoy homemade empanadas. Empanadas were delish curry chicken. The latte and cappuccino were both good. My girls had a Rikki and strawberry margaritas. They enjoyed them. They said they were "refreshing and the sweetness was just right". The staff are nice. The restrooms were nice and clean. A huge plus when the restrooms are nice and clean!!
Such a neat little bar with crafty cocktails! I enjoyed the strawberry basil margarita and a super tasty Red Over Green?. It is the most unique drink I’ve had in a while. If you like red bell peppers you will enjoy this very refreshing beverage. Don’t let the pepper fool you. This drink is sweet, yet full of the pepper flavor. Highly recommend. Carlton was a fantastic waiter offering his mad bar tending skills and great conversation.
The physical restaurant sign is hard to see. I did not know that this was the name of the restaurant at first glance of the establishment. Empanadas were delicious and they had some alcohol free beer. Kids were allowed in when I went. White queso was good! Parking: You can find free street parking nearby if the lot is full and you are ok walking some. Be careful crossing the street
*edit- they reached out and said it was a new bartender and offered to refund me. Pretty classy. Very slow service. And then I got charged $1.50 for a juice fee on an empanada. Which I think was the hot sauce I got? Idk…weird
Great local spot for a happy hour or a few drinks. The bartenders really know their craft and make excellent drinks. Can't wait to come back.Food: 5/5
