Credit cards are not accepted here, I'm saying that up front because every website they're listed in buries that , but the owners are happy to work with guests that miss this information. The bed & breakfast is the front half of a beautiful mid-nineteenth century home, the owners are extremely helpful and friendly, but not obtrusively so. We booked the smaller of the two available rooms, but since we were the only guests they gave us the larger room free of charge! WiFi is free and acceptably speedy, the room has a flat screen with basic cable, and breakfast is included in the room price. The house was designed and built by a Captain Lucius Mills, who designed several other buildings in town, and is next door to the historic Fred W. Green home. This lovely little B&B is definitely worth a visit if you're staying in the area!

This was our first stay at a B&B, so we weren't really sure what to expect. We had never been to Ionia either, so we were hoping our internet searches were correct that it was a decent city. We were more than pleasantly surprised with our stay. The house was in a nice and quiet neighborhood, with a school nearby and lots of families out walking. I felt very comfortable in the neighborhood. And the house was absolutely gorgeous! It was very, very clean (which I am picky about). In fact it was cleaner than most "upscale" hotels I've been to! The owners were genuinely nice people, Rick helped us with our bags and gave us a nice tour of the house when we arrived. He served a delicious breakfast that we chose to eat out on the patio, and chatted with us a bit afterwards. The overall stay was fantastic, and I have a feeling that this amazing B&B will set the bar pretty high for any other place we visit!

One of the best B&Bs we have ever stayed in. Rick's breakfast were excellent and served in a private dining area at a time of our request.

We had such a peaceful and comfortable stay! The hosts provide such a warm and welcoming setting. Everything is so cozy and relaxing! We enjoyed the assortment of tea and coffee provided in the seating area upstairs, right next to the front window, and couldn't stop smiling because everything was just so perfect. Breakfast in the morning was absolutely delicious, and it was a pleasure visiting with the hosts and learning about the home. We plan to return for our next mini-getaway. :)

Good experience. Host called back to confirm online reservation & willing to work with my schedule. The place is beautiful inside & out. Breakfast was excellent!
