Wonderful server was polite and friendly. Everything was cooked to our liking and tasted great. Small restaurant can get a little noisy and crowded, but the atmosphere is definitely cozy and welcoming. They have a great variety of breakfast items including an entire menu for omelettes! Some omelette options are a little more on the wild side if you’re feeling adventurous, but regardless they will make your omelette as tame or wild as you like. I can recommend their corned beef hash and their coffee as well. The service can be slow here, but if you’re patient enough you’ll be well fed.
This place has good food, a hundred different ways to make an omelet, and great atmosphere. We ate out on the porch because the weather was beautiful. We had no problems with service outside. The server was very attentive and we even spoke with the owner. This is definitely well worth stopping by and trying out.Food: 5/5
This place had such a fun cute home town feel to it. We went for breakfast and so many of the other customers were obviously regulars. Our waitress immediately made us feel welcomed and was so kind and friendly. Our food was the most classic and tastiest diner style you could hope for. I got the hungry Texan because I wanted to try some of everything but I didn't even eat half my plate there was so much. But everything was absolutely delicious. I subbed out my pancakes for the French toast and it was so worth it. The biscuit was so fluffy and buttery. My coffee was also so good and out waitress did such a good job of keeping it filled! Definitely worth the wait cuz when summer is in full swing, there will be a wait.
Our wait wasn't too bad, but I can imagine it can get so on busy days. I applaud this diner for having well varied menu options that aren't shy on flavor or creativity. The service was excellent, portion sizes on point, and the prices well within reason. And, they have good coffee! We will be back.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: NoDelivery: No
Great little restaurant. Usually a wait. The place is small. They only do breakfast and lunch. The food is very reasonably priced. We ordered 7 Hungry Texan breakfast meals. Bacon was crispy and the pancakes were large and fluffy. We will return for more.
I really really enjoyed the Union Station mainly because it reminded me of a good ol American homestyle tasty breakfast. Located in New Braunfels Tx near the downtown area next to the Comal River. The eggs and pork chops were cooked to perfection. The seasoning on the pork chop was out of this world delicious. Highly Recommended and can't wait to return.
Ate lunch here for the first time. The broccoli cheddar soup is the best I've tasted from a restaurant. Had my go to meal from a new restaurant of "meat loaf" it was nothing to write home about. Too bland not enough flavor reminded me of a 70's TV dinner. Wait staff was excellent . Will come back for their breakfast.
My family and I went to Union Station Diner for lunch and the lady who was our server did an amazing job juggling our group of 8 people!! We were all very happy with our server and how prompt and professional she was. She has short hair and had really pretty nails my daughter is very shy but she felt comfortable enough to tell her that her nails were pretty We will definitely return to Union Station Diner the next time we are in town! Thank you for the wonderful hospitality!
I finally got around to trying this place after living here for a year and am admittedly upset it took me this long as it was really great all around. I tried the open face roast beef sandwich, which I have only seen in a couple places I have traveled to, and this one was amazing. Very flavorful and a great portion. My mother had a burger and it was also seasoned well and juicy. We loved the atmosphere, definitely had that small town diner vibe, with friendly staff that were very attentive. The gentleman who was what I assume the owner or manager made his way around to all the tables to check on customers and would strike up genuine conversation with guest which really made you feel appreciated as a customer. Will definitely be coming back for more.
Fun place. Great staff and they serve fabulous food. Party of 4 completely satisfied with the whole dining experience! The service was really fast and was much appreciated! In town for a wedding. Everything that came out of the kitchen served to others looked amazing too. I'll definitely be back to try some other dishes.Food: 5/5
