A versatile selection of unique clothing and accessories. The brand list is one of the best in the bay: Levi's Vintage Clothing, Alden, Kapital, RRL, and much more. Their selection has something for everyone, from modern to heritage and everything in between. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about their products. Highly recommended for anyone who is interested in high quality clothing.

Most of my closet's greatest hits were birthed in a stroll through Unionmade. SNS Herning sweaters, Needles shirting, or a simple pair of Alex Mill Khakis... my purchase history at Unionmade is in many ways a vital tool for self-reflection.  I've been fooled into paying way too much for a red Todd Snyder Champion sweater and walked away with a khaki blazer simply because it was on sale. In retrospect that overly narrow cut wasn't 'interesting'... it was just ugly. Come to Unionmade and prepare to test your aesthetic sensibilities and sense of value. I guarantee that you will evolve over the course of repeated visits. It is an expensive store with a learning curve, and while I sincerely believe that 90% of the stuff here should be left on shelves till the moths come roost, finding the 10% can only be described as divine.

Do want to pay a little more for stylish and quality-made clothes? Or go to Banana Republic for stuff made cheaply in sweatshops that will barely last until you get home?

It's a pricey shop there's no denying that, but the quality of garments they sell more than makes up for it. Very informative staff as well, I will sometimes stop by just to discover whats new even though I won't purchase anything that day.
