United Church of Rockville Centre is an "Open and Affirming" congregation in the United Church of Christ. We fully embrace the gay community as created in the image of God! Worship is engaging and accessible, with a thoughtful sermon designed to help you with life in the short-term and get you thinking about life in the long-term.

Holy Communion is served on the first Sunday of every month. All are welcome at the table, including children.

We declare the United Church of Rockville Centre to be an "Open and Affirming Church." We are a Christian community of faith, committed to affirming that all people are children of God and welcoming them in our church.

We believe that God calls us to celebrate each person's individuality. In our life together, we respect the integrity of each person's identity, life and culture.

We continue to welcome people of every age, race, ethnicity, gender or sexual orientation, physical or mental ability, economic status, and family structure into the full membership, leadership, ministry and sacramental life of our congregation.

We covenant to respect and support each other in our celebrations, sorrows, spiritual growth and personal ministries, calling forth the gifts of God in each of us.

We pray that, guided by the Holy Spirit, we may grow in knowledge, vigilance, and sensitivity to become ever more fully the inclusive community of faith that God is calling us to be.
