At La Verne United Methodist Church we want your wedding to be one of the most beautiful and memorable events of your life.
The Romick Chapel holds up to 200 people. The Romick Chapel has been recognized in several architectural publications for its striking design (Ladd and Kelsey Architects of Pasadena) and unique beauty that encompasses the natural setting of the large Camphor tree behind the altar. The Batik panels on the interior east and west walls were created by Donald Mc Gee of Venice, CA. Their unique design uses one of the oldest known symbols of the Cross combined with a floral motif to represent the Trinity.
A Meditation Garden was consecrated in 2003 through the generosity of Howard Jochimsen and matching gifts from the congregation. The pergola in the garden reflects the chapel architecture and can be used for large or more intimate ceremonies
Our fellowship hall can accommodate up to 60-80 people at tables, has a full kitchen and access to the outdoors tree-shaded lawn area.
Additionally, you can hold receptions for up to 300 people outside with room for a dance floor and band.
