This distribution center is an absolute nightmare. USPS clearly needs to address this, it's been ongoing for many years. Packages just go "missing" daily, and endless complaints unanswered. People need to start filing complaints, what a joke.

We have experienced too many issues with the Coppell Distribution Center to even begin to itemize them all. Personnel from the U.S. Postal Inspector General's office have openly acknowledged to me that the USPS Distribution Center in Coppell is one of the two worst in the nation with regard to customer complaints, lost mail and the falsifying of data. As others have already posted, it is impossible to contact anyone at this location for assistance. The lack of responsiveness is not isolated to USPS postal customers. Our local Post Master has stated that they are also unable to obtain a response or assistance from anyone at the Coppell Distribution Center. Coppell has effectively been able to isolate themselves from all outside contact and accountability and , to-date, apparently falsify enough record-keeping to avoid significant upstream Federal scrutiny. The management of this Distribution Hub needs to seriously come under the microscope of the USPS Inspector General's office for a 'house-cleaning'. The American people deserve (and pay for) better ...

This Post Office has provided the worst experience I have had, to date, with the USPS. My very important registered parcel "fell asleep" there for nearly 10 days until I had to call USPS and initiate an investigation. And only then, did they wake up and take action...... The package contained memorial items for my recently deceased son intended to for his memorial service. Needless to say they did not get there in time. If you ship something important in your life, consider alternate options. This experience motivated me to open a Fed Ex account. I've now lost too many items that they falsely scanned as delivered. The worst part, is that when they scan them delivered, before they even leave the Post Office, YOU CAN NOT collect your paid for insurance. This has happened to me. My local USPS has admitted to scanning items as delivered to your home even before they leave the building so they appear to have been delivered even early. The problem is, they are later lost, or misdelivered!!! She literally told me "she has spoken to them many times, but they won't stop it."
