Terrible service. I walked up to the counter and asked the lady (who I had to wait for) to use my tracking number to find my package. She said that she "Can't do that because it's a UPS Tracking number". KEEP READING----> I KNEW THIS and the post office in Saint Jay was able to use this number to track it via the internet. I thought to myself "Why not? The guy in Saint Jay used it with no problem?". So then I ask her "Ok, well If I give you my address and name, can you see if the package is here and get it to me?" And then she just looked at me like I was speaking a different language for a solid 5 seconds and I was about to add onto my statement when she purposefully interrupted me(why?) for no reason. She said "Yes I can do that." So I think to myself "ok cool". I give her my address and name but halfway through she opens her mouth like she wants to say something. ? Weird. So she then she starts to get short with me and says "Even if your package was here I couldn't give it to you". Then why did you even say you could???? Did you just do that to get my name and address? Creepy. I then said "thanks anyways" and promptly left the building while in my mind I thought "Thanks for wasting my time and lying to me". Back to the guy in Saint Jay, he actually took the time to check in the back to see if it was there right when I gave him my info. (I will most definitely write a spectacular and well-deserved review on the page in Saint Johnsbury.) The man in Saint Jay went out of his way to help me, while this incompetent lady in Lyndonville went out of her way not to. Very dissatisfied and disappointed with this lady who not only refused to do her job to check and see if my package was in the building, but also did not have the best of composure while doing so: (interruptions and rushed attitude). So if you still use this post office, don't expect anyone to go out of their way for you to do their job. I won't be going to this post office any longer.

There used to be a number available for me to directly call the post office and inquire about my packAges. It now forwards me to an automated system that is hard to navigate. It is very apparent to me that the US postal service does not care about its customers and has chosen the most inconvenient method possible, I'm assuming because it's dirt cheap. You guys blow.
