Very convenient to use the self-service kiosk. Even after the working hours. The foyer is open, so you can drop off your prepaid package at any time and get a receipt with the tracking number on it as well. No line, no wasted time, no problem.
They refused to put a shipping label on a USPS tiny package, it’s their mail! The lady told me to go to UPS or FedEx to have a shipping label printed out. I wasted over 30 minutes of my time driving out here. I will never use USPS ever AGAIN worst experience ever. How is this? Considered a post office? If you’re not going to take care of your own people and your own mail, there as good as a dropbox, disgraceful!
Outstanding service by Kim in handling cancelation of Premium Priority Mail being sent to me in Tennessee for six months.
Horrible, simply horrible customer service! Not sure why it's necessary or okay to be so rude. I received three phone calls starting a little after 7 am this morning from the post office. I called back and was advised by an extremely rude employee that the redeliver request I made last night would not be honored, and that I would have to come into the post office to pick up the package. I explained to her that the notice that was just left on my door yesterday stated that I could have it re-delivered. As I was trying to explain this to her, and she proceeded to cut me off and told me that it was not the first attempt. I told her no problem. I go inside to pick it up and showed the staff that it was indeed the first attempt as stated on the slip and that the slip also stated that I could either go in and pick it up or have it redelivered. The staff then told me, in order to redeliver, you have to go online which is exactly what I did. In short, the whole thing could have been resolved immediately, if the rude employee just listened in the first place! Not a great way to start the day! USPS Melborne staff needs to be trained in customer service!
What a big disappointment, we always trusted their service but I did not take the tracking for one of the mails as a result it was lost and never found ,tried my best to search the mail but all in vain as what I got to hear from USPS was only one word if I have the tracking they can help.otherwise forget about it. Does this mean that without tracking we should not rely upon their service ? How the company would have helped a person to locate his misplaced mail in transit back then? I had requested for the assistance and the person who returned my call was too rude to me by saying that it is my fault that I have not mailed it on priority with the tracking number . All I have to say is that why doesn't USPS make it tracking compulsory then if there is no guarantee for other standards way of shipping the mail. I waited for two months as I had mailed in April and till July I was in hope that my mail would be delivered to my family . Now my family wants them in two weeks and I have reprocessed those papers again but I expect some courtesy from USPS atleast to show that they care for mails and they should at least sent my mail on priority this time free of cost by showing that one gesture . Which I know is not what they will do...
Had four packages dropped off on a Monday. Of these four packages, only two were scanned in by Friday of the same week, two of them have never been scanned and do not show as in transit. One of the other two which were scanned was missent which caused multiple day delays, and the other has been out for delivery for a full two days now. The post office is absolutely terrible, GOING TO UPS NOW!
The people at this post office have got to be the friendliest around. They are always helpful and courteous. Fast service. You can't beat it. And for the last week they have been without electricity because of Hurricane Irma and yet they are still sorting and delivering our mail and have people available to go get your packages out back, even in the dark warehouse. Hats off to them.
The best USPS branch I dealt with in 30 years of my adult life. I use their services 2-3 times a week and NEVER have waited longer than 5 minutes usually shorter. The most friendly staff no exception I dealt with, but Christopher tends to be the person who happens to help me most often. Thx all of you ladies and gentleman at Suntree Post Office branch! You are all amazing!
Ramona is our mail carrier. Not only does she always have a smile on her face, but she helped us get mail from our previous apartment to our new house, which was stuck in a mail box. She did that without us asking, and the missing mail appeared a few days later. We are so appreciative, since it was medicine we needed. Ramona went above and beyond, with a smile. That is customer service at its finest. Thank you Ramona.
They have a flagpole out front with a flag that flies 24 hours a day. No light on this flag. Protocol for flying the American flag is: Is it proper to fly the U.S. flag at night? The Flag Code states it is the universal custom to display the flag only from sunrise to sunset on buildings and on stationary flag staffs in the open. However, when a patriotic effect is desired, the flag may be displayed 24 hours a day if properly illuminated during the hours of darkness. The American Legion interprets “ proper illumination” as a light specifically placed to illuminate the flag preferred or having a light source sufficient to illuminate the flag so it is recognizable as such by the casual observer. To have the flag not treated properly by a US Government office is not acceptable and should be addressed immediately. Either install lights for the flag, or take it down nightly.
