If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. The actual building is great- large room, well organized, clean, etc. The staff itself is absolutely horrible and a disgrace to postal workers everywhere. Could not be more rude if they tried, completely incompetent, and don't even make an attempt to look like they're trying to hear any questions or concerns.

I remember going by boat from my family's summer house on Halsey Island to the old location in Great Cove to pick up the mail.  Before my time, my grandfather and then my grandmother served as Postmasters.  He had the PO at his bar (now the Windlass) and she had it in the entry of their home.  Times have changed!

They constantly lie about not being able to deliver packages.  They cram packages into your mailbox.  They leave things laying on top of your mailbox.   I have never had worse service in my life.  I'm considering a PO box in a nearby town so I don't have to deal with them again.

This place is horrible, they refuse to go down my road which is perfectly accessible, my mailbox is out in a dangerous main road because of this. Packages are never brought to my door because they are to damn lazy to drive down my road get the hell up out of the truck and bring them to my door. I've missed time sensitive things because of them and closing at 5pm I can't make it there after work.  LAZY, RUDE TO DEAL WITH IN PERSON. DO YOUR JOB AND DELIEVER MY DAMN MAIL !!

Renee is a perfect example of someone who has little customer service skills, knowledge on proper protocol, or willingness to help solve problems. She is in part why I cringe when dealing with the post office. She is also a reason why the Post Office loses $8 billion a year.
