i thought that with a 1.7 star rating it must be exaggerated, "it couldn't be that bad its just a post office"

it is. its bad. i ask a question she offers a supervisor i ask another question she only offers a supervisor. the only other thing she says with certainty is "I don't know" she goes to talk to her and i stand there for a while...to long.

avoid if you can, i had no choice.

I have an online business that is 100% shipped items. I also move fairly frequently, so I have dealt with dozens of post office branches across the country. This is by far the worst branch that I have ever dealt with. From the painfully slow and inefficient service counter staffed by people with terrible attitudes, to the inept carriers that frequently deliver my mail to my neighbors, to the confirmed scheduled pick ups that don't get picked up at all. They should be ashamed of themselves, but they are not. If you try to follow up, or god forbid, register a complaint, they will treat you like YOU are the problem. One star is two too many.

[UPDATE #2: Received a call from another female office employee (Carol), who was following up regarding a stolen mail inquiry I'd sent in via USPS' site. I continue to be impressed with this office, and the attention to detail they put in if one simply asks. USPS has a huge burden now w/Amazon taking over, so it's time to be a little more understanding when a couple out of 1000's of packages goes astray on any given day.]

[UPDATE: The woman I originally spoke with regarding a shipping/delivery issue called me back within 15 minutes after taking my tracking info down, and explained about why my package couldn't be delivered; the address written was unclear. NOT USPS' FAULT.  She offered to hand write my address on the package and send it with them to deliver it tomorrow.  VERY courteous! Upgraded review to 5 stars.]

I was shocked when I saw how poorly people have rated this branch.  Many of the negative reviews dealt with issues that were either misunderstood or the ball was dropped on important details (aka, didn't read the fine print or do any actual footwork themselves).

Trying to run a business don't received mail from this post office everyday. Try to contact them, when I'm filing a complaint they hang up on me.  My customers mail payments and work auto to start repairs.  We can't do anything due to our post office not delivering our Mail.  
This is our Government folks can you please tell me why it is OK to not have any customer service.
