I've been using the post office in Whitewater for the last three years. I've never had any problems. The packages have always been in good condition and my things have never gone missing. Today my package was placed at the wrong location and their worker, Sherry, who took my call, went above and beyond. She checked for my package at all of the apartment complexes my landlord owns and took my tracking number to see if it had been misdelivered somewhere else. It was and she was able to retrieve it. She was very fast, polite, and wonderful to talk to. While the Whitewater Post Office may have made a mistake, it was fixed quickly and with wonderful customer service.

Everyone that has helped me at the Whitewater Post Office is kind and thorough. I know I am going to be in and out in a matter of minutes which is important to me.

Inconsistent on delivery; never know how my packages are going to be delivered. Most of the time they keep it for pick-up because it is "dangerous" to go in my apartment. Their words, not mine, and it isn't because they are heavy so I'm not sure what they are referring to. Other times they were randomly trek up and leave it in front of my door. I know by the label it is USPS, not mixing it up with UPS, so I'm not sure what the deal is. It sucks because I don't mind picking them up, but when I've called to make sure they hang on to my package because I'm out of town they have delivered it EVERY time.

The woman who works there is nasty, unhelpful, and unprofessional. She yells at you as if she was your boss. She refuses to help you even if it would only take her 5 seconds. Don't go there unless you want your day ruined. It bothers me that she is not fired.

I've lived in Whitewater for several years and used to despise going to the post office, but the quality of service has increased dramatically over the last year or two. It's still not perfect, but MUCH better than it used to be.
