Great Resolution! I've had terrible experience with USPS losing packages and not owning up to it in the past. I am very pleased with Madisonville's post office team. They had a substitute delivery driver accidentally put a package in the wrong mailbox, but had no problem tracking it down using GPS coordinates at the time of delivery. They resolved the issue within the work day and I am thankful that they owned up to it and handled it. They were sincere, apologetic, and professional. The post office in Lafayette was TERRIBLE compared to these guys and cost me hundreds of dollars and tens of hours to get to nowhere. Thanks for giving me some hope with USPS!

Always friendly, the folks at this PO in particular helped me out of a big jam and found a package tracking that I had lost. The USPS nation call center wasn't very helpful but these guys made it happen.

Worst mail delivery !!!! It's 5:15 p.m. (7/13/17) and still NO mail. Madisonville Post Master very rude and no help at all. Today July 14, 2017....I didn't receive mail today....My neighbors got their mail.... wonder if this was retaliation against me because I been complaining about getting mail LATE???!!!

Aweful...absolutely aweful. Today an elderly, blonde-haired, female postal worker (did not get her name) stood inches from my daughters face and yelled at her for arriving minutes before closing and being the last person in line to mail a package. After verbally berating her, she refused to mail the package and demanded she leave. So much for the Christmas spirit!!! Since when does business hours end BEFORE the posted business hours! At no time should a customer be belittled and yelled at by anyone at the post office. Perhaps the local postmaster should evaluate the personnel they put in a customer service position. Had they answered the phone, I would have complained to the person in charge that day. Go to Mandeville or Covington location and avoid being ridiculed at the Madisonville location - its worth the extra few minutes! Zero stars is actually more appropriate.
