I have had many issues with this post office over the years. I'll complain about an incident, all will be okay for awhile, and then it'll happen again. I live across from UWRF and the postal carriers seem to be confused about the difference between a dorm and a house. They've wrongly delivered my mail there SEVERAL times and don't seem to care that this is bothersome. It would be one thing if this happened once but it happens often enough that it makes me wonder how often this misdeliver mail. Maybe they need better training? The other day our road was blocked by the city - not my choice, obviously I wasn't happy with being unable to get to my own home in my car. So USPS decided to just not deliver my mail. One would assume that they would then choose to deliver on the next mail day, but they didn't. They had 2 other days that they could have delivered a package I was waiting for, but apparently it takes them multiple days to get something out to be redelivered. They don't contact you, nothing. Also, my parents stay with us in the summer and my dad, a retired postal inspector, has made friends with our mail carrier. Which means that the mail carrier thinks it's okay to park in our driveway now as he does.... I don't know what. I came home from running errands one day and he was parked in my driveway. I figured he was delivering my mail and would move. Several minutes later, after seeing no movement, I finally honked my horn. I live on CASCADE AVE., I can't just sit in the damn street all day! He then got out of his truck, went around to the back, and started fiddling back there. I honked my horn AGAIN and after a few more minutes he finally left. MY DRIVEWAY IS NOT A DAMN PARKING SPOT. I don't care how friendly you are. And every time I complain they apologize, but apologies only go so far at this point. The mail carriers need to be retrained. Or they need to hire more intelligent carriers. And the postmaster needs to actually CARE. Absolutely awful customer service.

People at this post office are not helpful, and I would even go as far as to say they are rude. The staff do not seem to know what they are doing, and they messed things up so bad that it felt like I had to jump through flaming hoops just to get a refund on my PO box. Here's what happened: I ordered a PO box online and then realized a day later that I didn't need it. I work two jobs and found time to walk into the post office a week after purchasing this box to ask for a refund. The lady tried to ring up my refund but couldn't do it. She stated that a refund simply isn't possible and that I can have the keys for my PO box until it expires or just get my key deposit back and forget about the box. I couldn't believe that these were my ONLY TWO options. This lady didn't seem to know what she was doing, and didn't ask anyone for help. It seemed like she was just trying to give me a bullshit answer just to get me to leave. Well I called customer service and was told that I could get my refund online by clicking a link. After searching and searching with technical support on the line I couldn't find the link. It said that my PO box was ALREADY ASSIGNED even though I never received a box or keys. The lady at the post office "assigned" the box which prevented me from getting a refund online. So I walk back into the post office almost another week later when I had time off from both jobs. As I'm explaining my situation to the post master, some employee at the counter right next to him says outloud in front of other customers, "Yeah she's the one who paid for it 3 months ago and never came in". I looked at him, pissed, and said I bought it 2 weeks ago.... Not only was it embarrassing for this guy to say that outloud in front of everyone, but I felt like I had no privacy. Were they talking about me? Was I a customer that they gossiped about? They don't know anything about me or what my life is like. They don't know that I work 80 hours a week and have a hard time getting to the post office when it is open. I AM SO HIGHLY OFFENDED. I hate this post office. I hate it, I hate it!! Now to finally make bad things worse, I got my refund in the mail with an envelope that has question marks all over it. It says "Move not listed??" which pisses me off because I listed my move online and had my mail forwarded to my new address 2 weeks ago. They still can't get it right. Oh, and the refund check for the PO box? I paid $30 for my box and was only given a check for $29. Seriously...... Worst customer service. It was such a waste of time. I will go out of my way just so that I don't have to deal with these people again.
