Less than helpful staff member I was dealing with today. Came in to inquire about a missing package and to see if anything could be done. The guy who 'helped' me said there was absolutely nothing they could do and didn't give me any further advice...how he went about it all led me to believe that nothing could be done and that my package was just left out in the ether. He was also very condescending and a dick. All the while you can submit a missing package request through the USPS website - something this guy should have been able to tell me since he is employed by the USPS after all.

Sometimes they decide not to run. Neither myself or my neighbor received mail last Saturday and when I called to report it I was told by Brenda Jones "I find that hard to believe, " who hung up in my face. Before hanging up in my face she said she had no info on why the mail didn't run and when I asked for her manager I was told, "here's his number, if you can even get him," and given a number that didn't work. Terrible customer service!

For passport: The office is open 8am to 330pm, most business days. I arrived at 255pm. There were several people in line, and I was informed that if I wasn't receiving service (by the one employee) by 320, then I'd have to come back another day. I understand that government offices function with restricted hours and with staff who aren't interested in staying late, but considering that this is the only place in town for passports, this is extremely poor customer service. Even the federal government should be better than this.

Fantastic customer service. Owen and the new hire in the passport office were very nice, and they processed my application expeditiously.

Owen in the Passport office should be studied by ALL other goverment staff to see HOW IT SHOULD BE DONE!!! Owen was NICE, Helpful, Fast and RIGHT the 1st time! Even made me LOL. He is the new high water mark for customer service. Keep up the great work Owen! Say hello to Jack Black when you see him ;)
