Avoid. I happened to be in this area, and had important packages to ship. Arrived at office at 8:30 am, not open. Went inside, stood there with 4 other people for about 35 minutes. One of the customers went to their back door and banged on it no less than 4 x in 10 minute intervals to no avail. Finally an employee came out and said someone called off and they could not open for a while. She offered to take our packages but that was it. Found out one of my packages had insufficient postage and is now potentially lost as it is not showing tracking information. Very frustrating.

Went to pay my post office box payment... there were about 20 people ahead of me. The line was basically through the door. There was only 1 person working at the counter. It's December 9th. You should have more than 1 person working. The self serve kiosk was out of order. And I had been unable to pay online for some reason. And also for some reason I was not able to just make a payment over the phone. Absolutely absurd. If you can use another post office I would definitely recommend doing so.

The service at this post office is absolutely horrendous. Nobody ever picks up the phone. When they finally pick up, which is rare, somebody usually just lays the phone down and walks away when placing you on "hold." I have been calling all morning to get through about our business not receiving any mail for FOUR DAYS. Yes, four days. Somebody FINALLY answered the phone and when he placed me on hold, he came back, said "hello" and when I responded he just hung up. I have now been calling for the past 10 mins to get back through. Not a single employee there knows their left hand from their right. I have never seen such terrible customer service in my life. If I could rate them 0 stars, I would in a heartbeat. The only reason I gave them 1 is simply because I had to to post this review.

For anyone trying to get a hold of them on the phone: I asked the desk clerk who told me they don't really care about the phone because "there is no accountability". I then had a supervisor tell me that they often just don't answer the phone because they aren't around or are too busy. Why do you have a phone if no one is going to answer it? You'd think that if it rings for 5 minutes straight someone might get sick of it ringing and answer it. (I actually tried this). I avoid this post office at all costs. Thank God stuff can be done from home now. You can hardly go in and not have to wait in line behind 10 people and the workers seem to have no regard for just getting up and going on break with 10+ people in line. They move with no sense of urgency and certainly aren't the friendliest bunch. You certainly can never get through to them on the phone. It either rings or is busy. I wish there was a negative star rating. Also, semi related, I routinely get other people's mail in my mailbox. I've had 4 in the last week. Makes me wonder how much of my mail isn't getting to me. Update a year later: I just called and let the phone ring for literally 3 minutes and no answer. Again, WORST POST OFFICE EVER. Next update: I have a package out for delivery today. I go to meet the mailman at my mailbox. He drives off without leaving my package. I chase him down and ask if he has a package for me and his response is "Sir, I don't know. You're just going to have to wait until tomorrow." and just drives off. I chase him down and and ask him again to which he says, "I don't know what boxes I have with me" and drives off. At the 3rd set of mailboxes I ask him to at least check the 4 boxes I can see to which he tell me he doesn't have anything for my street. Um, didn't you just tell me you don't know what you have with you? I try and call the post office and surprise - the line is continuously busy. Why is there not a negative rating option for this post office?

I went to the post office to pick up a package and was told they couldn't find it. Tried again a couple days later, same thing. Gave then my number to call me back when they found it. Never received a call. Went back again, gave them the "We missed you slip" and my phone number again since they still couldn't find it. Never received a call. Package got found...and was sent back to shipper.
